um poser pro pack has a poser to lightwave plugin, moves pz3 files to lightwave. there is one for 3ds too, it works really well.

hey, it must be a bryce thing. If you look in my gallery there are two In Fall images. The first (yellow) took 20 hours to render. the second, I removed the sky, and atmosphere and it took 2 hours. Same stuff. I even added volumetric fog to the image after removing the sky and it didn't change the render time. I have a wine glass image on my site. The window, made of bryce objects did the same thing..from 30 min render to 2 hrs. Maybe it has to do with glass or the color yellow, I can't decide which.

Another option is to use terrains to make tree like objects(there is a tutuorial for this on the bryce content cd) for the forground up close trees, and to break appart single tree models(un group them) and scatter the parts to make the forest. Textureing spheres and blocks to look like foliage in and trees in the far back look good to.

well they glom together....if you create one, and then put another next it it the look ike putty...if you look in my gallery, metaballs were used to make the water in the In Fall pictures.

the bryce 5 manual is exactically word for word the bryce 4 manual....except for a small addon for meta balls(like a paragraph). the second disk has files on it...skys, objs and some more tutorials.
