I just bought the hair but haven't installed it. However, I use Poser 6 and Poser 12 is quirky and very different.
I agree about right clicking on the work window and changing the OpenGL and SreeD thingy. And updating your drivers.

Since he is giving a lecture and educating, I don't think he is lying, and believe that it is a nervous tick. Some people touch their hair, wipe their forehead, cling to the podium, adjust their clothing etc. In this case he touches his nose. Annoying yes, but he likely doesn't even know he is doing it.

A difference between the hobbyist and the pro
One difference is the fact they tend to have more time to spend in Poser because they are motivated to make money. I've been trying to get back into Poser for several months now, but life seems to get in the way and I can't justify letting life matters slide in favour of getting onto the computer. Just when things seem to start to settle down, something happens to make it chaotic again :(

I don't remember seeing him in anything except "The Finder" which was recently on TV. He seemed very good in the part.
