OMG!! If I recall correctly the recent birth of her grandchild was also tragic as the baby was stillborn. I am guessing the mother of that baby is the daughter she just lost, so this is incredibly tragic for the family. My heart goes out to them to have to bear such loss.

Thread: Question regarding commission work! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I charge according to the size of the image and the amount of work it will take to produce what the client wants. That can be anywhere from $50 for a very simple portrait to $200 and up for something more complex. I use a contract, which I require they sign and return (either snail mail or electronic sig) and I also send a letter of agreement laying out everything in detail. I allow for some modifications and changes, but if it gets to be ridiculous I remind them that (according to the contract they signed) I will be charging an hourly rate for additional changes and modifications on images they have already approved. I make sure and show them the WIPs along the way, with watermarks and a small size. I require a 50% deposit and they do not get the full size image(s) until I get the balance due.
Once they have approved everything and the image is sent out, any changes they request are on an hourly rate.
I hope that helps.

Actually, I'm logged into the gallery. It seems to be a separate login now. I have not tried to login to the forums yet.

The forums and gallery are online. From what I gather, the store will reopen very soon.

Thread: A simple Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My runtimes total 126 Gig setup on my external hard drive. (You learn after having to reinstall that much stuff once or twice.) I have many smaller runtimes rather than one big one. They load into the library much faster that way. I have not noticed any effect on my scene loading time but it does have to look through a lot of stuff to load the full scene. It's still rather fast though. Has it always been like this for you or is this recent?
You could try the same trick I use for Vue. At the top of your Poser menu, click on scripts>Utility>collectSceneInventory and save your entire scene to its own file. Just remember where you saved it. That way it is not searching through what amounts to thousands of texture maps for the right ones or hundreds of object files, etc. Just reopen your scene from that file you saved.

Sadly it does not appear to be available. I only know because I have the outfit.

Thread: New-Build PC Spec - PP2014 Compatibility | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Looks good to me. My processor is not quite as fast as yours though the setup is very similar and I run Vue 2014 with huge ecosystems quite effortlessly. I also use IDL with Poser without any issues. So you should be fine for PP2014.

I passed on using dynamic clothing for years. Now? I use it a great deal and more often than conforming clothing. I love it!!
