For myself, I'm not against the idea of a site "upgrade" per se, but against this current implementation.

Much like EVERY other piece of info I have regarding this Revolution, I've pieced together from various threads the fact that there was in fact a Beta test for this "New Improved" 'Rosity. Obviously it was a closed beta, as I never heard a ting 'bout it 'til th'other day, & I assume that the testers invited were all vendors due to the fact that they have access to parts of the site the rest of us don't that also need testing. Again, I have no problem with this... seems like SOP to me. The problem lies in the fact that y'all went directally from closed beta to EAT IT!!! Bad juju, 'Rosity... very bad. The Grand Reopening is no place fer the open beta (open beta also being SOP).

Coupla years ago my car got called in on a recall. Ya know what they did? They gave me what they called a Courtesy Car to drive while my own was out of commission. That car, while not the shiniest or newest, worked just fine in the interim. See where I'm goin' with this?

My bottom line here is by all means go forth w/ the upgrades, but don't force us to "get used to" a broken product. Do a proper Open Beta on an alternate address while leaving a previous stable iteration of the site intact at the main addy while y'all make yr dream site come to life with full Google/ Win 10/ whatever support/ compliance.

I would dare to assume that that is one feature that will NOT be coming back soon given the current climate.

Just fer shits & giggles I just looked at the Become a Vendor page to look fer a piece of data I was curious about... right there top & center it sez Passionate Community. Y'all might wanna think 'bout that & let it sink in a bit. Apparently it ent obvious from all the posts on this forum, so mebbe your own words will help ya get it through yr heads; this IS a Passionate Community.

But that ent the good part... scroll down a bit & it asks "Have more questions?", then does a bit of a FAQ dance. But the answers... well, answer, as the same one is repeated fer every question... are in LOREM FUCKING IPSUM! Now, in addition to having to RTFM to post in the forums, RAnotherFM just to navigate the damned site, we need a translating dictionary to a gibberish language. What the actual fuck???

So without the benefit of the aforementioned info I was seeking I'll just have to wing it; I've been to the MP before this Gong Show started & there were a LOT of products in there. Yr telling us that after takin' yr 65% cut off the top of every product sold, ya decided to let the boss's kid (or whoever) run rampant across our site with Baby's First Webpage Designer instead of hiring someone who actually has a fucking clue what they're doing?

Then there's the lingering question of "Why?". Did any members of the Community ask fer this? I admit that in the past few months I've seen a few staffers come into Chat (when we had one) & ask about site concerns. The overwhelming answers they got were fix the search function & fix the trolls/ flame wars/ moderation in the forums. And of course we were also polled on who was sleeping with whom... where is the Community in Love page spawned from that data? Now I won't assume that this was the entirety of the feedback you collected prior to your Shit Storm... sorry, your "Revolution"... but it does make me curious as to where ya'll got the idea that anyone asked fer any of the "improvements" ya made. Is been made pretty obvious that virtually NOBODY WANTS the changes, & the longer it takes fer y'all to admit "We fucked up" & roll back to the functioning page of a week ago, the more we will become dissatisfied, & more & more will jump ship to seek greener (or at least properly fuctioning) pastures.
