Thanks - she did look like she was a little chilly! And thanks again for offering such a great figure.

Welcome to the crazy world that is Poser. Here in lies addiction, my friend. It starts so subtley, first the urge to get up a little earlier of a morning, for a 'quick pose', then the spending more than you would like on 'important extras' at sites like this and Daz, then the tying up the phone lines downloading above mentioned extras, plus all the millions of freebies you just have to have, then the not going to bed until the small hours coz that hair is not quite right, then the watching people all the time, hair flicks, boobs bounce, eyes flicker, hands twitch, then the dketching possible scene ideas on scraps of paper, backs of envelopes, important tax returns, then the abandonment of all you hold dear, family, friends, pets, Ah, Poser - my only addiction.

If I did not have the clear all lights one I would have thrown Poser in the bin by now! A wonderful little routine.

Thread: OHH POSER artists.....did you know we are not artists? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What does art have to do with time? Some people CAN create something amazing in just a short while, others take years of slog and still are not happy with the result. Art is not about which software you use, how long it takes, whether you are wearing a smock, or if you are in a studio or a corner of the living room - art is just art. If you see a picture and it makes you think - you know, it has that thingy about it, well that is art. If you see something and it just looks crap, well then it is crap. And everyone will see it differently! Yep, one man's masterpiece is another man's toilet paper - that is the way it goes. I create what I want with the tools I like using best. That is my descision and as long as I am happy with the result then that is that.

Perhaps it would be nive to have two versions then. One with the morphs for P4 users and one dynamic for P5. The P5 version could be cheaper.
Thread: Clothes and V3 poses dont get along | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I really don't want anyone to think I am being rude or nasty here, but I see a lot of this type of question being asked. I found out how to conform clothes because I looked it up in the manual. Again, not wishing to sound horrid, surely when you buy a piece of software that costs as much as Poser, most people would at least glance at the manual. This sort of stuff is covered, there is a simple guide to setting up your first scene that deals with most conforming issues. Artemis-Sun, settle down with a coffee/beer/diet coke and check out that shiny tome - it is worth it.
Thread: Buy Stephanie Petite? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I like Steph 3. She has become my favorite character. Why? Well her face seems somehow better than Vicky's, whatever morphs. She makes a good sexy fairy - I never felt comfortable using the Mill Girl for that. Personally I do not like Jim Burton's figures - they are too skinny. But at the end of the day it all boils down to personal preferences. Would you have uses for her? Do you like the look of the things you have seen other people do with her? Can you justify the cost?

I have also just got 0.9.2 (guess who just brought Bryce). It starts OK etc but sometimes crashes whilst importing Poser stuff - not everytime, just now and again. I can see no logic to the crashes at all. Still, at least it loads quicker than Poser!

Thanks, knew it was a silly question. Now to get used to all the silly little controls. Thanks guys.

Here, here - though it can't possibly be as bad as the abysmal '3D Comic Design, totally crap.

She was free on a magazine with other poser stuff a few months ago - amazing how many times one sees 'exclusive' cover disk content. She is an excellent model, and the version I had came with clothes and poses too. Well worth $15 Machine Claw.
