Thread: Anal Probe Kit in free stuff | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I personally thought it was kind of funny myself,  which is why (combined with I knew it would make ruckus like this until it annoyed an admin enough to remove it) I advised people to get it while they still could.
I may start hiding these in my renders kind of like the 'find the playboy bunny hidden on the cover' thing. Â
Thread: can poser do that? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've learned long ago not to doubt the Stewer...
anyhow it'd probably would of been easier in Anime Studio at any rate (not that I know for sure since I've not used Anime Studio, is there a Demo copy?)
Thread: OT - will Adobe CS2 software run on AMD machines. Also Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'd say this more has to do with plausible deniability then anything. What's probably happening here is that all of Adobe's test machines are intel processor based, and they don't explicitly test on AMD chipsets, and although all logic says that it should work, they can always fall back to the 'it's not in the system requirments' if it does fail. Or atleast that's why the company that I work at does it.

I'm guessing that if this was made with a EF product it was probably Anime Studio.

to do something like this in poser would be near impossible as the models are usually more anotomically correct in poser. More of what you would see in realism style comic books. You can check the galleries here under poser comics to find some great (and greatly talented) examples.

none taken Fixer. I'd be offended if you were wrong or I was a copywrite lawyer but I'm not, your not. (wrong that is)Â

I think that there would be an issue with this. General rule of thumb, unless you built it from scratch or it came from a merchant resource and you modfied it enough to satisfy the EULA then keep it for your self.
If he has poser and the original character I think you may be able to export it as a morph target and then he can use it on his copy of the character (including exporting it to 3ds) but unless he owns a copy of the original obj I'd stay clear.
Thread: Tips on positioning mirrors? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I wonder if using point at in the object menu would help any.
ie mirror points at subject, then camera points at mirror.
I may have to try this out when I get home (if no one beats me to it)
Thread: Is this out there? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
the Unimesh Realism kit should work if he still sells it. As long as the material zones are the same you should be able to use it for any character. I've acctually even modded mine for characters not originally supported by just adding the required material zones to the scripts.
Used here on the Grey's
These are all the same default texture. I just modded the materials and the sliders for color.
Face-Off doesn't seem to mind, but I can't distribute them of course.

you can also press 0 (zero) I think. I must do this 1000 times while working on a peice, just mouse/finger clumsy I guess.
Thread: Anyway to Light a Poser Character which i will use as a GIF, in a game with a Vu | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you have P6, I'd try to use an IBL light with the Vue background as the IBL Image and a 50% intensity and then a point light in the direction of the Vue lighting with a 50% intensity.
if you have P5 or less then you can use the Poormans HDRI method (can't remember who does the script, but I'm sure if you google Poser HDRI you'll find it) to make a light dome using the Vue Image. WARNING - this makes render time a bear an a half.
You can also import your Vue image as a background and just tweaking the lights little by little.
out side of those, the only other thing you can do that I can think of is just experiment.
Thread: opinions please A comparison | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have a gallery limit of 1 per day and I have another WIP that I plan to post later.
Can we get back on topic now.

Just to clearify. The site that I hosted this on is image shack. A lot of other people here use image shack so most will have the cookies that IS uses already on their systems. The cookies are not infact datamining cookies, but are acctually used to identify users in order to direct them to their uploaded images. If this is a concern you can do 1 of 2 things. The first is to disable cookies on your browser. I think the image will still show. The second is to just not visit the link. I'm not forcing anyone to do anything here it's all your choice.
I hope this clear things up for some people.
Thanks,
Thom
Thread: IMHO E-Frontier Poser 7 upgrade policy is disrespectful to Poser 6 customers | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm not too upset mainly because I hope they keep this pricing scheme when I skip the P7 upgrade and go straight to P8.
