I love the tutorials, I have the Getting Started, Advanced vol 1 and 2 and I just saw there is a vol 3 :)

I guess I should clarify...I can load the cloud texture, but it doesnt look like the cloud texture.  It works like if I load it into a sphere, but not an alpha plain...so I guess I need a color map of the clouds but am not sure how you go about doing that...

im trying to achieve low level clouds around the base of mountains.

One more question if I may...I am seeing Vue for sale on E-Frontier and also Eon did E Frontier buy out Eon?

I guess what im worried about is, I love Bryce, and enjoy it..but Vue seems SOOO much better...now..there is Vue infinate, which seems that if I simply want to replace Bryce with Vue, Vue Infinate would be overkill. Vue Easle would be maybe less featured from Bryce? and Vue Esprit would be equal? I guess im comparing features and capability. perhaps what you all are saying is, no matter what version of Vue...they all kick ass over Bryce?

but my question is...which version of VUE would be the most similar to bryce?

actually vue 5... they have vue eisle, vue espirit, and vue infinite.

When you say it doesnt start, what are the symptoms? Do you get some errors? Does it start to load?

I appreciate everyone's comments...those earings are figures not props but I did adjust them a bit and I can see what was needed. I never even looked at them before someone mentioned them (typical guy never notices her new jewelry :) ) I try and comment on the gallery photos that I actually click to open .. I look at a lot of thumbnails but not always open them up. I know for me, I have not known what to say on some of the comments as I didnt think I was a good critic but now I am seeing that Art is based on what it does for you, and not some critique based on a template mentallity. As soon as I can upload another photo, I have adjusted Mickelle's lips a bit and took the advise of someone and used the Pretty Base Textures instead of the one I used before and I love the change.. She has a new pose and is trying to make James happy :) Look for this to be posted later tonight when it lets me upload. You all are very friendly and helpful, I enjoy it here!

Thank you Acadia! you helped me last night on textures! That is what I do, I spend almost 2 hours a day looking at the gallery, both poser and Bryce (I love to do Bryce too). I look and think wow, I want to do that, or gee look what they did..etc. I have never had any training other than Photography. I took some of that in College and have done a lot of 35mm work, but never have I been trained in art. I get a picture of something in my mind and I just go after it until I create it. It is like a driving force.

In reply to Mordikar, yes I do like it. I wanted a face that was something I created. When I look at her I really like her. I also think she wants me! hahah I just really enjoy it. I do know I can improve on all levels, but I see some of these gallery posts get comements and votes and others do not. Not just my stuff but other gallery uploads as well. I have only just gotten back into Poser a week ago and I cant stop! In reply to Blaufeld. I never even looked at the feet! Nor the earings...thank you for pointing that out, I hope to start noticing those things on my own. I appreciate the comments :)

one last question... the jpg for the eye looks like an eyeball, which material node would that be? I see iris, cornia, socket, etc

once I have the new node...what do I connect it to? Diffuse Color?

can a jessie skull cap be used on vicky? or do you have to make one for each figure?
