Quote - Here I made it less sharp. The render still took nine seconds. That shows that specular convolution is cheap.
Kerkythea's material system calls this feature "Specular Sampling". It samples a convolved copy of the environment sphere. It is not ray-tracing reflections.
Yes, but ... you used a kitchen counter. Everyone knows that sampling from the kitchen counter is not allowed.

Manways with doors coming up from the floor would help with the scale issue. Also, perhaps hanging hose stations (fuel, water, gases) from the ceiling. Some wheeled ladders?

Very cool. The walls / doors look stone like - a metal finish would be more appropriate. Also, the stripes on the tarmac should be dirty - not pristine.
Otherwise, nice job.

Still, you have to applaud the hard work. It must have taken some effort to make the worst 3D store on the internet even worse.

Thread: Painful Medical Condition for M4 | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Gen is conformed to M4, it does not seem parented to any particular part (when viewing the hierarchy). I would say, however, given the physical appearance, that it is parented to the hips. Where else?
I believe that the problem is simply that many morphs which expand the torso were left out of the M4 Gens when it was created, and I simply lack the programming skills to insert them.

I don't know what Emerson would say but, then again, one encounters hobgoblins so rarely these days.

It's the server room. Be careful when entering, it's probably full of empty tuna tins and peanut butter jars.

Thanks again, jt411. That's basically what I did, and still got some weird results (streaks of older color - maybe bleeding through from the skullcap). About the transparency map, is that a separate jpg file, or the same one used for texture? If different, where is it found?
Thanks,
Klebnor

Thanks for the info. When you say manually attach the shader trees, how do you do that for a complex shader?

Thread: Muscle morphs... Please, you gotta help me out... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Acadia:
Morphing Clothes is just about the handiest utility out there. I have had fantastic results inserting all sorts of morphs into clothes that lack them. Muscle morphs, Elite morphs, Girl morphs, the clothes conform extremely well. I have also used it on many different clothing objects without any problems.
This will not convert from one figure to another (like wardrobe wizard or crossdresser), but if you have clothes for V4 which are older, or simply lack the morphs you want, its a great solution.

If you have the morphs for V4, you can insert them in clothes with Morphing Clothes. You load a version of V4 you want to use as the source before transferring. Just load the morphs into V4, name and save, then use that object as the source in Morphing Clothes.
