A bit more explicit... the program you need (to use Windows Poser files in Mac Poser) is Maconverter by MartinC, see the link I include (the download directly from Free Stuff here is disabled).Thread: problems | Forum: Poser Technical
Many pics here are labeled WIP (work-in-progress) so that viewers know that it is here for criticism.
Thread: Clothing for children? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Since Anna is "fairly new to Poser" maybe she does not know what "Trav" means. Can you help her (and me)?

I second the suggestnion of the man-to-boy option. To conform any adult male clothing to him, first conform, then (for the "body" of the clothing item) re-size to 85%. Works great.

Thread: Remapped Hokusai Wings - Mac compat. issue... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Generally the OBJ file contains the UV coordinates, so a separage UVS file is not needed, even on the Mac. Isn't the UVS intended to be released when it applies to a copyrighted OBJ that cannot be released, then anyone who has the OBJ can apply the UVS? Or have I got it all wrong?

Thread: Poser 4 Book | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It's basically the same book with with new additions. It even has a few references to Poser 3 that they forgot to change. A tip for Mac users...if some of the BVH files on the included CD don't work, open them with a text editor and remove all blank lines.
Thread: Attaching props | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
First position the prop relative to whatever you want to attach it to. Then (while the prop is still selelcted) in the Object menu choose "Change Parent". In the list that comes up, select what you want to attatch to, it might be a body part, for example. After this is done, the prop should automatically move whenever its parent does.
Thread: PRESENT to Poser community | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Is it intended as a Windows-only page? If so, why not say so> If not, perhaps some indication of which ones have Mac versions would be good. A few even have UNIX versions...
Thread: .cr2/.pz3 Huh? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A PZ3 is a scene. It may contain many figures. Since the guy and each of his items of clothing are separate figures, except for a nudie character (or one with permanent clothes) you can use a PZ3 for everything together.
