Thread: Nasty Bug When Exporting as Image | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, I used export image from the file menu, and chose the .psd format from the dropdown. The compression box then changed to compressed or uncompressed, I chose compressed, and it saved without problems.

Not much help, but just tried it and it works okay here (same version of Poser and XP pro). The only difference is, I don't get that compression box in the dialog - mine just says 'uncompressed' or 'compressed'. Possibly something wrong in your installation - try a reinstall?

Thread: Please Help. Were can I find this hair ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
According to Google Eowyn had some free textures for it, you could try IMing her and asking if she knows where the hair itself could be found.

Okay, here's the second attempt. I've changed a few things since the previous one. I'm quite pleased with the glass, especially as this is a procedural, not a bitmap. Still some work to do with the straw and the lighting though, and I'd like to get frost or condensation drops on the glass.

Thanks, I'll do as you suggest and let e-on know. It's the first time I've come across this, but then I haven't got very deep into the workings of the function editor yet :-)

Yes, I get the same thing. Not just Poser either - C4D does it especially well. Speed goes up from about 3800 rpm to over 5000 rpm, and the CPU temp goes up by about 5 degrees. The noise is quite noticeable, though I'm used to it now. The case fan switches in sometimes, as well. The wife uses her laptop and desktop in the same room (she often has both running simultaneously) so she can't complain fortunately :-)

Great tablecloth! With the straw - there's a common theme emerging that stripy straws are the thing. Are people using bitmaps or procedurals for this? I tried a procedural but failed lamentably. A bitmap works fine, though you have to play with the mapping to get it to fit correctly.

Great tablecloth texture! And I like the pencil - looks very realistic. How did you get the colour gradation in the liquid?

Many thanks for the comments. The tablecloth is a procedural texture but I've solved the edge problem by using a bitmap instead. I'll try a cloth bump, but I originally thought this could be one of those plastic tablecloths you sometimes see in cheap cafes :-) Needs some specularity if so. I also need to think about the liquid, it's too bright as it is. Both bitmaps are mine - taken in Gibraltar, the backdrop is of the botanical gardens, the postcard is the cable car taken from the top of the Rock.

Thread: Still trying to uncompress single compressed files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You don't have to rename the .crz file, just drag-and-drop the file into Winzip. Winzip will assume it's really a zip file and unzip it. Then you can extract the .cr2 to wherever.
