It might help if you can post what version of Poser you are using ? And are you using the Poser setup room or doing it via script.

after you add the bones, you need to set groups for each bone (auto group on grouping tool menu) and set the joints for area affected, area ignored and the blend area. This is done for each axis of the joint. There are some excellent tutorials.

I have read many posts that say you have to bring Poser stuff (and NOT Poser 5 or pro) into Daz Studio (that takes an hour on my system to load anything) and then move it into Bryce. Not an option for me - and once poser stuff is in Daz studio forget ever getting it out for use in Poser. I am buying Vue when I scrape up the dollars.

I thought renderosity was actually very restrained in what is allowed, and as a recent purchaser of Poser 5 assumed this site was primarily for Poser users. Having limited talent in modelling clothes my scenes are limited to what freebies I can grab. Since the figures start naked (gasp) it is often easier to do a beach scene or something rather than try to get 8 or so conforming clothes and props correctly loaded and parented. Then spend hours with magnets trying to patch the poke through when you pose the figure. As to "masturbatory practices" ? you create the scenes using mouse and keyboard (two hands ) so how ???? A site that has really disturbing stuff - like has this guy seen a shrink lately - is Renderotica. (I hope I can give the site name without getting banned) but at least they have a great filter system on the gallery. When viewing the store your on your own. (whips,chains, tentacles OH MY !) Poser probably reflects the fact that "adult web sites" are a very significant part of the web, and publications like Penthouse and Playboy are stocked practically everywhere but according to polls are never purchased. There seem to be plenty of sites that cater to every piece of software I have heard of. I do agree that a version of Poser and site that would cater to younger teenagers would be a good idea. I do not see it happening though unless as a subset of an 'adult' site. regards

It would be nice to have a freestuff area open ONLY to adult members for the R and X rated sort of props. But realistically you would then need to move a huge number of items and enforce a kid friendly rule of no tits, ass genitalia , weapons, axes, whips, chains, etc. The ball gag is less offensive than some of the ring gags posted elsewhere. And then you get tentacles, man that is sick, and dog p**** props. If you surf the web at work , personal responsability says avoid actions that will get you fired.

I have had a similar problem with poser5. If you start poser at less than 1024 x 768 sometimes a window, in my case the UI buttons winds up outside the screen area and there seems to be no way to get it back. The message you got is poser warning you your screen resolution is too low. If you can start poser at the highest screen resolution available.
