Thread: LOST! Anton Kisiel's Posable Dragon | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Are you just sat there watching this thread, waiting for a chance to pounce on the keyboard. Incidentally you'll find a pill in freestuff. Unfortunately it's got arms and legs and might be a bit hard to swallow, it's called spot I think. Anyway, I,m no going to download my entire website. Yes, I lost that too, damn Windows (has anyone done a model of Bill Gates with an exploding head morph, it'll probably outsell windows).

WOW! I really needed a quick reply, but that was really quick. Thanks Ikyoto. Just got it downloading now. You're right about the model, it really is good. the only thing that does bother me is the readme file that comes with it. It just says that you can't sell the model. Does this mean I can use the images I make commercially or not. I've tried emailing Anton but have had no response in over a week. Any ideas. By the way the morphs would come in really handy. I made a brilliant red dragon attacking an amazon with this figure, unfortunately when my machine decided to lay down and die.....well let's just say I was close to tears.

The cr2editor is the first entry in the untilities section, it doesn't call itself CR2editor for some reason. If you can't change the file extension try either looking for a utility called properties plus (freeware, you'll have to search) or rename it in DOS (or a DOS window).

I know it's not a real solution but could you simply make the straps invisible, then it would look like the mask was laid down with the straps tucked away inside it. Failing that it's another one for the Poser 5 wish list (not that there's much hope left for Poser 5 now), collapsable parts, ie: select collapse and that part flops or sags in the direction of the floor, laying across anything beneath it. think of the hair props you could make with that.

It's quite a simple solution really. When you have your model just as you want it (make sure you parent everything that needs it) save as a PZ3. Next close poser and rename the PZ3 file to CR2 Now open up CR2Editor and edit the lights, camera etc from the CR2 (everything that isn't part of the models) and save it. Put the CR2 in a character folder and open up poser. Load your new character. Now save the figure again in the characters library, make sure you use a different name than the original CR2. Now close poser and go to the folder where you stored the original CR2. You should now have 2 CR2 files and an RSR file (eg: myfile.CR2, myfile2.CR2 and myfile2.RSR) Delete the second CR2 (myfile2.CR2) and rename the first CR2 to the same name as the RSR file (myfile.CR2 to myfile2.CR2) You should now be left with two fully working files, a CR2 and an RSR to go with it. Open up poser and try it out.

That C exception is really starting to get on my nerves. It always happens just after I have my figure just the way I want it, but then I try to render. I just about manages to render the feet, then the CRASH! Incidentally why does poser render from the bottom up?
Thread: need some boots | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Great, thanks Steve, the trousers will save me some messing around. Geekholder, thanks for the info, I don't really want to buy a cd for one thing, but I'll check it out anyway, I could do with some more clothes.

Just had a look at your site. Wow, what some great models you have. They truly do look realistic. I can't think of anything to do with any of them yet, so I just downloaded the wheelbarrow to mess around with. Why didn't someone tell me about your site before.

Not sure about this one, it's a bit more subtle than posette's texturing. I presume that he couldn't get the ship in the bottle so built the bottle around the ship. This would make a great curiosity image in a gallery somewhere, it sort of makes you think.
Thread: Galloping Centaur Animation & Tutorial | Forum: Animation
Just read your tutorial, it should come in really useful as I intend to include the centaurs in a game eventually. Oh, yeah, in future I'll try to keep the names sensible, not figure1, figure2 etc. I forgot all about it in my six-arms character, thats the p4 nude woman and an extra 4 figures to make up the extra arms, it looks pretty confusing in the heirarchy editor. What do you think, fancy making her do an animated fan dance or something.
