This is just all so fantastic! PoseMagic working beautifully and Dizzi you Rock! Just finished modifying 10 Jessi poses using WTB's keyframe method and Dizzi's Pose Magic Utility. Works perfectly! The utility even knew that I had ten frames set up. Went through each keyframe and saved 10 new poses in little more time than it took to save just 1. I like hair on my figures even in the thumbnails so I just make new thumbnails by rendering at specific size of 91x91 at 72 ppi and saving as .png to the pose folder that the original and pose are in. I just don't like my girls bald unless they're meant to be that way. Or guys for that matter. This is now the best thing since sliced you know what.
Thread: Favorite hair styles? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm a hair addict and use most available at some time or another. I hope you're asking this because you plan to create some hair. The one thing I'm missing is some type of soft curly hair ala Marilyn Monroe. Grownup styles. It seems that most hair created is straight or almost straight or curvy but not curled. Probably because it's hard to make soft curls. OK, nuf said.
Thread: Why do you hate magnets ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Lovely girl! I'm so impressed and envious. I love magnets. Took me a long time to wrap my feeble brain around them and I'm still not really good like some. But, most of my products have been altered a bit with magnets. I can add a tiny nose tweak to a full new look as I did for Jessi. I never would have used that figure if I couldn't have changed her to my taste. And it was all with magnets. Some days are terrible and I can't do anything and forget everything I have learned. Other days are wonderful and I morph and alter and save and use on other figures and do hair and have a ball. Once had to fix an inverted something that "just happened" in anim8or and that was neat, finding that I could actually fix something that I had broken. But it's when I'm morphing with the dials and look and see that I would like the upper lip a little fuller. And there's no dial to do that. All I have to do is pull out a magnet, fool around a little and, voila!, there it is. It's a good thing. And Mike3 has the flattest cheekbones on the planet and I can add a magnet, mirror it with Python that I found here, pull the cheekbones out a bit and save him and use that model for all future Mikes. So cool. Of course, this is coming from someone who doesn't know how to use a 3D program very well. Always planning to learn and never finding the time. So to be able to change what I want without ever leaving Poser is just perfect. And much less expensive unless you use a free program!

Go to FreeStuff, then Poser, then Search, type in Iron Cradle. You'll get right to the page.
Thread: SR2 ate my cat, stole my girlfriend and burned down my house. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey Guys, serious question. Where do I report major bug with SR2? Hopefully the CL people are reading this. Installed it last night. Started up this morning and was happily loading morphs into a figure. Program seems to be a little faster. Everything going fine. FIGURE disappears! Gone, not there, erased, blizted. So I took a chance and saved her. Shut down, rebooted, started up again. Disappearing saved figure loaded fine. Happily working away. She disappeared again. Program still indicated that the figure is there. She's the incredible invisible StephP. Now I have to go reinstall everything to get rid of the bug that the bug fix gave me. This makes me very grumpy.
Thread: how big is YOUR runtime? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Oh, thanks for the link. I love Dr. Geep tuts. But I know how. I did a major redo after getting P6 and have cleaned out a bunch, especially graphics that I would never use like green lipstick, etc. I was just wondering what the 27 catagories are.

31.8 gb on a 114 gb second drive but the drive totals 77 gb and growing. Graphics, graphics, and more graphics. How does someone divide runtimes 27 ways? I'm dying to know. I have mine in basic catagories like Clothes, Poses, People, Objects, Scenes, Animals, etc. 27? How do you keep them straight?
Thread: Status of new female Poser figures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
So you did wake up! I'm coming over to your house with a cattle prod. Just kidding. IMO she's the best looking figure for Poser that I've ever seen. But...here's an idea. Finish her and start another figure with all that you've learned and make the next one your new learning tool and make it even better. Because, this lady is just going to go on and on until you have to put wrinkles and gray pubic hair on her!
Thread: Poses? I don't think so! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Dizzi! Oh, I do hope you continue with this. I spend more time mucking though the Library than I do anything else. Takes me forever...waiting for folders to open, scrolling, backing up and going from one runtime to another. Kind of like keeping all of your clothes in a closet in a house down the street and having to run over there to try things on. Then to the hairdresser, then next door to the colorist...oops decided to wear something different so it's back to the clothes house and on and on and on. Takes about as much time. I really need a faster computer. Well my brain's fried...too much CNN.

OK, now I love this. Want it, have to have it. Question: Would you have to have only one Runtime? Or could you have multiple runtimes? I finally got mine organized by catagorys like Hair, Clothes, People, Poses, Animals. But it's still driving me crazy to choose a hair then have to go find a hair color and/or pose. I would love to have a hair file and then it's own mats in a subfolder dedicated to just that one hair. As it it you have to jump from character, hair, poses, props and that's just for one hair model. Or Vicky Fantasy dress in one spot with all corresponding mats right there in one or more subfolders that you could really see. Fantastic! I often open P3dO just so that I can see more but it's not always stable. To have this inside Poser would be great. A huge thumbs up from me.
Thread: Thank You Ockham! | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
Oops! Sorry. It's in Free Stuff. Here's the link: http://www.renderosity.com/freestuff.ez?Topsectionid=0&Form.SortOrder=UserName&Start=25&Form.Search=True&Form.Criteria=python It's called CR2 Shortener. Well now that I have my Runtimes reduced a bit it gives me an excuse to fill them up again. Drat!
Thread: Great Python Script for Smaller Cr2s | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I would go to the Python Forum and ask there. That's where all the python gurus hang out. This basically reduces the size of the text file by eliminating the stuff that has a 0 value. Morphs can be really huge and you only need a part of the file. So this strips out the text that you don't need. I do this manually with morphs that I make myself, but I had never tried it on Cr2s. If your figure doesn't have many morphs, then it won't be very big. Morphs can really up the file size. If you're ever afraid of ruining existing files, back them up. It's a good idea to do that frequently anyway. That way if something is messed up, you have the original. And test, test, test before deleting anything.
