Oh hell no. First Daz, now Poser. Sorry, but I've been burnt too many times to put up with that nonsense. All it ever does is annoy and inconvenience legitimate users (especially when something goes wrong, which according to Murphy it inevitably will) while the pirates just laugh their asses off and carry on as usual. I don't buy encrypted Genesis stuff and I won't be buying encrypted Poser stuff either. Yes, being ripped off sucks, but so does being locked up and locked out of your own files, which has happened to many people thanks to DRM.

The product currently allows encryption/decryption of OBJ files and I believe over time the developers will be adding other formats and various plugins software specific. Other than the members references to Poser the developers are offering a product which is standalone and not in conjunction with SM. Most software we use will have a OBJ file in it's content so if d3crypt3d can find a OBJ it is compatible.

Renderosity is made up of those that create content and their customers all mixed into one. The site is ideal for you to do your research while you develop the product and I know you are a very qualified team. First of all I fully support a developer/vendor protecting their rights. Working their guts out only to have their product end up on some two bit file sharing site within a week of release is simply not on. On the flip side it is the customers that have the concerns that need to be addressed. In order to provide a great product that suits both parties it is essential that the customer has a certainty the goods will always remain available to them.

• I realize you install the encryption/decryption software but do you have the one app and just enter your keys or is it a new decryption app with each enabled product and is it included with the files from the vendor?

• Can you save your keys for a product to a thumb drive as a backup for those unfortunate events like HD failure etc

Can any future hunches of copyright/plagiarism infringements be reported in an appropriate manner please. Contact a member of staff via sitemail and outline you position and references/links that raised your suspicion. If the staff agrees with your opinion we will pass it on to copyright department. If you know it is for a a fact ie. it is your work that is being used then contact the copyright department direct with the details. Copyright is taken seriously here at Rendo and anything put forward will be thoroughly investigated, however the person on the pointy end should at least be given the benefit of the doubt and not publicly called to account as that is putting the cart before the horse.

The product used in this situation raised has similar licensing to all your Daz and Poser products, except it moves. Same rules - Buy it, use it for your projects.............Don't sell it or give it to anyone else.

I was using PP2014GD and when P11 Pro was on sale previously I found myself at the same crossroad 3doutlaw. I decided to go for it and turns out P11 is not too shabby at all. I like tinkering with the Superfly shaders. Besides the Daz gear to send over I use Architools in Carrara improve the model in Silo and stuff around with textures and shaders in Poser. I think if you take a peek at SM's YouTube channel there is a webinar on Superfly which is enlightening as far as possibilities go.

I am sorry to hear this has taken so long. We do have a manual verification happen on a first purchase on new accounts, from then on it is instant. However the length of time you have waited is excessive I have taken your issue over to the staff forum in order to bring it to their attention ASAP

The system here can have its moments but usually can be in the 'hours' and not usually the extended period of time you have indicated. They are not heading into your spam folder are they?

I reckon the sun has only just come up on the site after quite some time and as soon as he realises will fix the issue. I will have a look and see if I have any additional contact address.

Had a convo with him quite some time ago. If you are saying the site is still there then that would mean in more accurate terms the site is back up, and that can only be a good sign.
