Very nice stuff Avanz! Multiple dynamic groups can be a wonder.
Robynsveil, don't forget you could also put some invisible fabric above the seams of your corset, and constrain the top of that part, leaving some fabric in between those constraints and the top of the corset, so that it stays up, but giving it a chance to naturally stretch and drape to the bosom. It may take some experimenting, but you can get really nice results from it.
I believe I heard somewhere that the cloth settings are saved in props from either Poser 6 or 7 and up, but I don't know for sure.

Quote - I might have this bass-ackwards or whatever, but it seems that if you save the cloth item as a smart prop, it seems to save settings along with the prop. Not sure which-all settings were saved, but it seemed that a lot of those in the 4. Dynamic Controls section were saved.
As far as I know, all cloth groups and dynamic controls are saved with the prop, and it doesn't have to be a smart prop. The only thing not being saved is cloth simulation settings (name, collision depth etc) and the cloth objects (what it collides with)
This is really important since some dynamic cloth objects need very specific settings, not to mention different groups, decorated, constrained etc. All this is saved as far as I know.

Flibbits. You need to run a cloth simulation after you have posed M4. Does anyone have a link to a good tutorial?

Ah, you want riding pants.
Well, you could actually get that effect fairly easily with the morph tool and then make a full body morph from it. The pull and push tools can be used to this effect pretty easily.

What pants are the tunic pants, and what do "german pants" look like? Screenshots would help. :)

I use displacement maps too for thickness too. Very simple and very reliable. There are some hardcore modellers here though (LaurieA) who prefer modelling it, and do it quite well.

Quote - i we could make material groups invisible for rendering i could teach you some tricks for complex detailed dynamic clothing.
so lets hope that poser 9 will have this option.
You can, and it's already been done in dynamic clothing.

There is another method too.. It's possible to add geometry that you later make invisible... Like some invisible parts that you constrain a bit further up on her torso that keeps it up. Can be useful to make things stay, for parts where constrained groups don't look right.

RobynsVeil, I wouldn't worry about the tris under the bust. What you could do is just to add another horizontal line and make them a bit more even and less drawn out.
I'm curious about the seams. You seem to get a pretty decent sense of thickness. Are all seams constrained or are some part of dynamic groups? I've found that constrained groups over the bust can cause problems if the shape is altered. Either way what you have looks really nice.

Parenting the cloth can be really useful if you want the cloth to be tighter or looser in the final frame. If you have a tight clothing, and your figure is a bit thinner, with a parented cloth you can scale the figure in the starting pose, and it will get a chance to stretch a little, even with a thinner figure. Works like a charm for me. The opposite can work too.
With some clothing, I actually get prettier drapes with quads than with triangles, despite what other testing results say. It depends on the item, so I just go with what I think looks best for each thing. :)
Also, how the polys are modeled are also important. It's important to shape polys so the fit the angle of collars, seams and things like that, which will result in much nicer drapes. Also certain areas should have enough polys, like knees, breasts etc. I find that those things are often more important than whether quads or triangles are used.

Heh too late. :) I had some platinum club vouchers saved up so I didn't spend much on it anyway.

I like the way you used the dress, Moriador. :) The weird drapes around the waist is a known issue, and topic for a whole other thread here, heh.
Laurie, yet another great looking dress. I love your sense of detail.
RobynsVeil, I might have to give Blender another shot. I use Wings because I find it very fast and intuitive. But now that Blender has been given an overhaul, it may be quite useful for some features and operations that Wings doesn't have. I didn't like Blender because I found the interface confusing.

You can easily combine NGM with other morphs to get the desired results. I think SamTherapy is essentially right that they work best for upright figures, but I wouldn't say they only work that way. I've gotten good results using them to get the desired shape, then using other morphs or magnets to alter the gravity for other poses, like laying down, bending forward etc.
You can also do this fairly easily yourself with different tools. The morph tool is excellent for creating a flatten effect for a laying down pose, that alters the shape. Magnets, your own or using products like Easybreast is great when you want to alter a bigger movement, like bending forward or to the side.
The ++morphs do this to a certain extent, but sometimes you need something different, like for a good flatten effect.
