switch windows to full size individually preferbly ,or if not just the one your using ?

thanks for that info this turned out to be almost as good as an up grade changing the tile setting from 25 to 128 made no diffeerence to the dual core machine but a HUGE diference to the Quad machine it was rendering about a third slower than the dual core now it will render about a third faster so a VERY worthwhile improvement just doing that has turned out to be so once again many thanks for that input.

ah so at least that explains why you might want to change the tile size i think then i made mine too small at 25x25 most renders i do are about 2500x2000Â and most also contain some pose content as well

both cpu are AMD both xp and vista are 32 bit versions.i know intel quad cores are faster but igot a quad core system for ÂŁ225 too good a price to turn down!

 itried carara but somthings didnt seem to work in particular imported background images were left black and some objects had no texture thay just came out grey i tried it as i was just looking for somthing that would render a poser scene with no xtra messing about once finished in PP

to day i picked up a quad core pc for £225 so i thought id put it to the test against my other pc thats why i noted the times and why i was surprised that the render to disk was only about I min faster may be my image was too small to be a good test only 1440 x 900 72dpi

thats been quite helpfull i have indeed got one dress that does have a lot of dials available that i have just tried and have got a good fit .I guess some just have more options than others.could you tell me how to make body pars under the clothes in visible and how to use magnets to adjust clothing.I ve bought abook to help but it dosnt really seem to address the problems ive had mostly things ive figured out
