I haven't tried to import into Carrara yet, so I can't give you the specifics. But I know other users are doing it and that was one of the questions I asked before ordering the upgrade. I have tried the demo for Vue and it looks really good. But I've learned from experience that using a demo program for a few days/weeks isn't always enough. And sometimes the best features are disabled or missing from the demo programs. It's always good to get input for people who have been using it for a while. :) There are two things that I liked better about World Builder: The ability to import Poser animations and the fact that Poser characters can "interact" with water objects. My understanding is, however, that soon Vue will also be able to import Poser animations. I am not sure about the interactivity with the water objects yet. The vegetation does look pretty impressive in the Vue demo. It also seems very intuitive and easy to use. Thank you all very much for taking the time to give me some feedback. I'm leaning very heavily towards Vue at this point. Brian
Thread: Walk designer transition problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
First, I would suggest that you not scale the path. Simply click and drag the dots closer together in a straight line. Second, if you're doing a short enough walk you may want to try this without the walk path at all. Hope this helps, Brian

This is wonderful image! I don't have anything to add that wasn't already mentioned, but I was curious... is that a face on the tree?

All of your cars are incredibly well done! The amount of detail you put into them is exceptional. They're only lacking one small detail... a "Flat Tire" morph for the ultimate in realism! Brian

Thread: Is Poser 4 supposed to be this hard to learn? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just a note on installing items from the MarketPlace: Most of these come in ZIP files that will extract to the correct folders. Just extract them to your root Poser 4 directory (such as C:Program FilesCurious LabsPoser4). WinZIP or equivalent will do the rest. Brian

Thread: Still hooked on the sketch renderer. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I haven't worked with it much, I'm still working out the basics of poser. Can it make the render images look like comic book frames? Brian
Thread: Render vanishes?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have had the Render window pop up in the lower right-hand corner of my screen. It was actually off the screen at this point and you could just see a little squeek of the corner of the window. Luckily when I moved the mouse over it the pointer changed and I was able to resize the window and eventually drag it up onto the screen. I've also had it where it renders the image but won't let me use the scroll bars. I have to save it and look at it with another program. This only seems to happen with very large renders. Brian
Thread: Walk Designer and "leg shakes" | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was having similar problems just last week! Anyway, the problem is the yTran on the hip on some key frames. To fix the problem you have to use the Graph editor. Select the figure's Hip , then open the Graph editor (Window -> Graph). Select yTran in the drop down. Scroll to the key frames with leg wobble and drag the yTran value up just until the wobble goes away. Hope this helps! Brian
Thread: A solution to DAZ/Tailor/M2/V2 situation, app by DAZ atm | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This sounds interesting, but hopefully it's a short-term solution because this adds a fair amount of complexity to installing purchased items. I have been thinking about making a simple setup program for PCs that would do something similar. Basically it would be a self extracting ZIP stub that would scan the V2/M2 CR2 file and validate it before extracting the archive to the appropriate location. There would be a setup wizard that would allow you to pick the files and then it would create an encrypted self-extracting ZIP. Any thoughts? Brian
Thread: Use Transparency settings to make ghost? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I tried to do something similar with Stephanie, but I wanted to make her look like a glass figure. The problem that I had was that no matter how hard I tried I could still see some of the interior of the mouth (tongue, etc.). Brian
