Hi Alduin, hi vxg139,
we tried this tricky enlarging, but we failed in good results. We created a new pantyhose in RDS and conformed it at Poser (see at marketplace). There was much to do to get a nearly conforming item. Basically we used poses out of the Poser-lib. Oh dear! Getting fixed all the rips in the fabric by using pose1, the next crash came up by using pose2. Mostly we had to correct the joint-parameters and the polygons in our mesh.
Cheers
Thread: Its me again I have a rendering question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Anette, tell us something your hardware: - CPU - RAM - ... - which Servicepack? Think you got problems in Poser 5. Goto Render -> Render Options and check your settings! The slow one: FireFly Renderer Production faster but with less quality: Poser 4 Renderer Draft Perhaps it helps Have a nice day Daniel + Matthias

Tank's both, this calms us down a little bit. We are also running our machine with 512MB RAM. So we are looking forward for our update. Hope it's coming soon. Regards Daniel + Matthias
Thread: using morphs for rescaling parts in figures | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi bloodsong,
setting all individual parts to 1 it look like that.
Using the full body morph gets the same result.
So we think, the body morph is working fine. Maybe the deformation is caused by another problem.
How we create the morph:
Thread: How to Create Entire Poser 3 or 4 Characters from scratch ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Klaus,
here is our six-pence.
Creating mesh-objects (*.obj):
Setting alive our characters we start in RayDreamStudio/3DMax to create a mesh-object. We devide our mesh in several parts and name them. Also the setting of the material must be done in this mesh-object.
Creating hierachy-file:
After this we create a hierachy-file which includes all nanmed body-parts. To manage this subject we are using phibuilder, a very good program to create hierachy-files.
Importing hierachy-file into Poser:
If all steps above are succesful, the new cahracter is born in Poser (we are using 4.03). But!!! Now tricky finishings may be done in case of problems
After this, if everything is working fine in Poser:
So, a lot of work and pain is waiting for you. But the results are amazing, if your characters are acting in Bryce5 for example...
Cheers

thank's for your hints. They are working, but....
the result isn't like we expect. Setting the body-dial to 1 means an ugly deformation of the morphs.
Nevertheless, we got more experience in morphing a subject

Hi All, thank's a million for all the good hints. We are going to try all and hopefully we are satisfied with the result. Have a nice day Daniel + Matthias
Thread: Normals in Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
heyas, think Jim gave us a good hint. Yes indeed, this part which can be seen transparent in our image, was duplicated in RDS and turn around with 180. There are no normals (vn) imported into Poser. Nevertheless we got the solution how to erase this transparency in Poser. It's just a blemish, because after we have rendered the model, it is shown correct. First we thought, uv-mapper can fix this problem, but is doesn't.
Thread: Normals in Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
We fixed the problem. We had to change a setting in RDS. It's not a Poser-problem now but RDS. If you are interested: - We had to select the part in RDS-modeller, which cause the problem in Poser - We had to mark the '...reverse surface normals...' in the properties of this selected surface. Now in Poser there are no more normals anymore. Simple solution. Greetings Matthias + Daniel
Thread: Normals in Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
We try this tutorial. Using UV-mapper to reverse the normals was not succesful (unchecking the normals), because we used this good program to create a texture. thank you Daniel
Thread: How long does it take..... | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Hi Clint, we tried it again. This time just the message upload received okay appeared. Think we know where the problem was: We set a comma in the retail price instead of dot. Hope you got the files. Thank's for your quick response Regards Matthias + Daniel

Hi Cybermonk, short and to the point and quiet right! The only thing is, I had to edit the properties of the lamp not the switch. Thank's for helping. Matthias

Oh my God! How deep must be the hate in these people, who were doing this! More frightening: Some people in the world are celebrating this repulsive cowardly idea! How can we solve this brutal hate between the people? More retaliatory measures? We are wondering why no aliens are visiting us? Really? Our feelings are with these people, who were killed, injured or loosing their family, friends. Sorry, but today we are not in the right mood to create more 3D-modells.. Matthias + Daniel
Thread: advices in creating underwater art | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi cwshorty, no big deal! We created an individual bubble stream in RDS. This stream starts at the regulator. After finishing the bubbles in RDS we imported this bubbles in Poser (not as posable prob). We got the bubbles in the right position to the diver. Now the diver including the bubbles were transfered to Bryce. That's all.

Hi Leather-guy, oh... not blue enough! We were totally surprised two years ago. This Sea is called 'Red Sea', but the water is of this blue kind, especially in the night. ;)
