Poser doesn't do tracking data. But if someone wrote a Python script, presumably it could.

sorry your having a problem but it's just a plain low res mpg1. I've downloaded it on several computers since your post and it's ok.
That's strange even downloading it straight to the disk it won't play. Yet all of my other pure mpeg files play fine

Quote - This is the most exciting Poser development in years. Are you suggesting that it is possible to make Facial-motion capture as well as body motion capture? If you can pull this thing off you'll be able to retire at a very young age. Good luck and please keep us all posted.
Facial Capture is nothing new. Its been done already. Heck even a logitech webcam thats out does facial capture so you can overly your face with a character while webcaming. But Imagine this guy is looking to create a capture system that is really good yet inexpensive

Quote - Thanks, thefixer; I had found those, and dl'ed morph-e-us's camera 'in case,' but it's still a film camera, not a video camera, which is really what I'm looking for. The hunt continues (if only 3D Café's free models section weren't perennially hosed ...)
Over at renderotica there is Pro video Shoulder mount Digital/betacam Camera for sale(the ENG type). Its several Pages into the store props section. 10 bucks
Also there are good light stands, a light meter, primative Fresnel light, primative headphones, Director's chair, primative camcorder, barn doors for the lights.

Quote - That's about it, really - not a small handheld, but the larger jobs that use a VHS tape, or the pro jobs that use a 3/4" tape. I want to do some images that use a studio setting, with either tripod-mounted cameras or handheld shoulder cameras. Unfortunately, searching on "Poser camera" gets camera settings, more than Poser models.
Thanks!
Not anymore No pro uses VHS. Small wedding companies start with SVHS or Hi8 to shoot with. Buig pro don't go near the old 3/4 inch anymore. Its now minDV, DVCPro, DVCam, DigitalBetacam and D2. I think the XL1 is Hi8. But it might be DV. I can't remeber.
Building the Gl shouldn't be too hard as its mostly a series of cylinders and a box as you say. Its the fine details that will make it come alive so to speak. LOL. This coming from one who can't build crap. in 3D

Quote - I don't know. I only know Rosity was a nicer place when this site was "not-so-family-friendly" :P And... what the hell is "family Friendly"?? I seriously doubt that some "family Friendly" things are really good for families...
Tis very true It was great wehne it was young
Thread: Merchant farewell of the month | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - how are merchants unable to "properly show their products"? The short list: - No talking about your own product in the forums. If you do, your message is labeled "commercial" and moved to the Product Showcase Forum.
- No posting images mentioning your own product. If you do, your message is labeled "commercial" and moved to the Product Gallery Forum.
- No banner ads for your products unless they are exclusive here... which means you lose the opportunity to sell elsewhere. --John
Well Im not a merchant. But I gotta say if the above is accurate., well, stupid on all three counts. Would it not be smart to run banner ads on other comunity or general multimedia sites. Just as they advertise for other sites as well? It would only bring more members who would eventually if not directly go to the RMP.
Actually as to point 1 I think I can see where they are coming from . In a Adobe Premiere forum I belong to, there's sometimes a new member posting some blatant spam rather than going through proper sales channels. On the other hand Why would I want to go to a merchant forum where essentially each merchant is saying buy me, buy me, and oh yeah. Buty me.. I don't come for the commercials. Sprinkled here and there okay fine.
As to point 2 well if the picture or text that comes with says this is my new... available at the thre of course it should go into an adcertising forum.
Ultimately Point 2 and Point 1 then are basically the same thing. If its blatant then yeah commercial. But if its subtle and in tume with the way most discussion posts go. then I would say not
