Yes, it's Superfly preview I would like to see improved. SF materials often don't look the same at all once rendered.
Thread: Poser 14? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I just saw that post. Sounds promising.
Better preview would be great. Subscription option...I guess that means the phone home thing isn't going away. :-PThe dev team has identified the following focus areas for Poser 14:Â
- Replacing venerable Cg shaders with GLSL shaders for Poser Preview
- Adding Subscription Option in Addition to Perpetual Licenses
- Revisiting Cloth Simulation Library/UI
- Revisiting Lip Sync Library/UI
- Tesselation for Better Morph/Weight Copy
- Incremental Steps Toward Unimesh
- Other smaller features and bug fixes
Seems like unimesh is proving to be more difficult than they thought. Didn't they announce it would be included in Poser 13?

If you mean something that isn't UV mapped...I think you have map them in other applications like UV Mapper or Blender.

Speaking of slippery slopes...
The extra fabric here is actually counter-productive when the aim is to make stockings and tights and such. But it does make for a cute onesie that I can pull out whenever someone complains that my figures show too much skin.
OMG, I LOVE this!!!
Thread: Superfly Rendering Settings | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The lighting is the default Poser lighting. I usually use an even simpler lighting setup for a final render.
EZSkin would fix it, though I probably won't bother, since I prefer Firefly. I just thought it was an amusing example of things that don't look the same in preview as they do after rendering.

For a quick draft you could use the CPU/GPU Timed 10 second or the CPU/GPU fast preset with the Progressive Refinement ticked. With the fast you can stop as soon as you have enough samples to meet your needs, both will give a grainy image but does give and insight into whole scene.
Hey, thanks. Looks like the 10 second preset is new to Poser 13. It wasn't in Poser 12 or 11.
10 seconds is enough...

The presets are different in different versions of Poser, I think. I wish they were clearer. With Firefly, it's simple. You can just use the slider if you don't want to mess with too many settings. I usually push all the way over to the left until I'm ready to do a final render.
Superfly is so slow in comparison, and you really need to preview, because often, it doesn't look remotely the same once rendered. Somebody make a preset that's a superfast draft mode.
Thread: What improvements does LaFemme2 have over V4 | Forum: La Femme 2
LF 2's face chips are hidden by default. You have to turn them on (via dials in the Body) to see them. The face chips are meant to create expressions.
It does take awhile to get used to them, if you're used to expression morphs, but they're a lot more versatile than morphs.
Though if someone made a nice pack of expressions, I'd probably buy it.

On further investigation...I think you may be using the LF 1 morph pack on LF2. The LF1 morph pack dials are called "Body Morphs Pro." If you inject them into LF2, the dials appear, but don't work.

That's odd. What version of Poser are you using? And are you sure you're using the right morphs for La Femme 2? The La Femme 1 morph pack won't work on La Femme 2.
The LF2 morphs are called BodyFX and have dials labeled BFX. Can you post a link to the morph pack you are using?

Nice. I like bodysuits with feet. (For my Poser figures. I'm too old for footie pajamas.)

Rendering in Firefly is supposedly much faster in Poser 13, so there's that.
I still prefer Firefly myself.

Yes, removing the constrained groups fixes the problem. The poke-through at the nipples doesn't matter; running the sim fixes that.
But I understand why he put the constrained groups there. The straps tend to slide to the sides of the boobs otherwise.
