Hey, if you don't have any Michael stuff, the best way to go is to get the Mike 2 CD From DAZ. For $69, you get the following: Michael 2.0 Michael 2.0 Texture Maps (standard res) Morphing Flat Top Michael Clothing Pak 1 Michael Morphing Clothing Pak for Clothing Paks 1 and 2 By contrast, you could pay $59 for the download version of Mike 2, with no texture maps, hair or clothes. If I were you, and needed Mike 2, I'd order the CD and wait a few days to get it in the mail!

I just checked Ron's site and it works. However, there is some bad news. Unfortunately, it happens too often these days. I hope he doesn't mind that I posted this announcement. I installed Vicky 2, Vicky 3 and all her stuff directly into the Poser 5 (runtime) folder. (Most of my other stuff is installed into an alternate runtime folder. I didn't want to take a chance that this would cause problems.) I decided to inject the morphs in Poser 4 and then copy the figures into Poser 5, and use the Poser 5 MAT files from there. That worked ok. Then, out of curiousity, I tried adding the face morphs again, onto Vicky 3, in Poser 5. The job appeared to be accomplished. You could see the little "hourglass" figure, or whatever it's called. I noticed something weird from the start. Look at all the blank morph dials. There were a few there from the start. Now each time I try to inject a morph, I get another blank dial. Maybe my computer is just too wimpy. It's an old Celeron with 512MB of RAM. Sometimes Poser 5 just seems to bog down and wonder whether it really wants to perform.

This is totally understandable. It just doesn't make sense to pay in order to give something away. This is especially true if your generosity involves great financial sacrifice. The Poser community was helped tremendously by Internet access. Unfortunately that wealth of resources is threatened by the cost of providing those resources. Eventually, only the "commercial" Poser sites will be able to survive, and that will be if they generate sufficient funds to cover costs.

I get the same exact problem, only my message is in English. Out of curiosity, I checked two different items, and the links associated with them. The cake has a different link listed than the weiner. Maybe this is a clue?!

Should we "bare with you" (get naked with you?!), or Bear with you?! (Understand and sympathize)?! Hey, many of us have been hit with internet problems these days. Best of luck.

OK, now I'm confused. Last I knew, this update was several months old.

This may be a dumb question, but did you download the mac version?! I would think that is setup to work properly on a mac?! If you got the wrong version, you could talk to DAZ and get the right one. They're very helpful. Of course they don't normally work on weekends.

Unfortunately, Ron Knights site may be down eventually. I visited just now, and there is a bandwidth exceeded message. This guy has had lots of problems in the Poser community, and still kept the site alive to provide tutorials. Now the web host will likely demand a higher fee to pay for increased bandwidth to provide a free service to web communities that have already banished him. Sometimes you just got to know when to quit.

Sometimes couples like the ability to talk about "personal things" without others knowing the real subject. For instance, one might say "Don't forget to say hello to Willie," rather than "touch my penis." Um, well you get the idea.

Did you ever stop to think that someone might be taking a list of names of people who publicly admit to engaging in piracy?!

Have you checked out Ron Knights site? He has a tutorial on MAT Pose Edit. I've never seen an "apply button." Do you mean the "thumbnail" in the library?

I think it's silly to allow the copyright theives to remain while banning other members for silly infractions such as calling a moderator a dufflebag. Renderosity has banished many fine members who contribute greatly to the community, while allowing criminals to remain.
