Are you using Rhino3d? If so, try the blend command. Its under the surface tools. You might have to trim off a little of both surfaces to get the blend to work right. If this doesn't work try asking in the Rhino forum. Good luck

You could use a bump map to add some depth to the belt.

Your welcome hauksdottir. If Lannie will send me his/her email. I'll send it to him/her. Or if you don't mind, you could send it to him/her since you two seem to be able to communicate.

oh yeah if your using Rhino it makes a flat weird looking uvmap. So be sure to pick a new map(under edit in uvmapper), like planar or box. I usually pick one and do the whole thing first. Then tile this and then select each group and experiment with what works best on the indiviual parts.

I just discovered this trick myself. Import your object into Poser first then select it. Now click on the grouping tool. Now select each sub objet and assign it a texture name you will recognize. Export it being sure to preserve part names in the option box. Now you can select by material in UVmapper and you'll know what your looking at. Man this has made it so much easier for me. Hope this helps

Sounds like the prop is apart of the figure. Thats all right though. You can get it anyway. Export the figure as an obj. In the export option dont check weld anything. Also a good Ideal to preserve object names as it'll help you find what your looking for. Now reimport the obj. Select the figure and then use the grouping tool to spawn prop. This will break the whole thing in to it's component objects. Then just delete the parts you don't want. If the prop your after is broken into multiple parts just re-export. Again don't weld anything. This will leave you with a prop that has sub groups of objects that can be selected and textured differently. Hope this helps
