Thanks for the great prop! I don't do naked Vickies but I come pretty close. =o) I agree this is a much better alternative to complaining, kudos for that! Any chance I can get a text document Read Me for the Fireball? The one included just says "file" and I cannot open it with any of my programs. I'd really like to learn how to make some of my own effects with this most excellent prop. Thanks!

DAZ has several excellent and easy to do tutorials on lighting in the Arcana section. Also, kirisute put dragon lights in the free section a few weeks ago after I asked about them on a wishlist, might be helpful too. Do a search for kirisute. And do try the tutorials because once you learn how to do your own lighting you'll rarely have a problem getting the light the way you want it and I found it beneficial to learn just what each light is for. The link is for my first result using one of the tutorials. I was very happy with it.FlyByNight

Most excellent, orn4rk, the clothes and hair look very good! Eye Candy 4000's Fur filter is a great help for hair, too.

Nope, my old Vickie clothing doesn't do that. I have to constantly adjust clothing for any new pose. I'm saving my pennies for Vic3!

When you save outside of Poser you will also be asked to save the scene in jpg format. Mine asked me to save in .tiff since that is my preferred format. Just click save. I do notice that when you reopen scenes you have to add your lights again or the render will be messed up. I also use my figures in Vue4 so when importing a Poser scene that extra jpg or tiff is needed.

The best way I've found to apply tattoos is in Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. You can see how it looks by clicking the link. I've also used the Eraser brush set at low opacity and density and erased portions to make the tattoo appear more realistic. The tattoo is on it's own layer so I can work on it before merging with my figure. I've also changed the layer mode to multiply and adjusted the opacity. You'll find some tattoos in the freebie section are saved in .psd format and applied in Photoshop. Hope this helps. http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=254303&Start=1&Sectionid=1&WhatsNew=Yes

Thread: Preliminary Victoria 3 renders (with Daz's permission) | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Had Judy looked anything near as lovely as this model, I would have purchased Poser 5. Now I'm waiting for Daz Studio because I already like what I've seen of it so far, and, Victoria 3 of course. I love my Vic2 but you have made so many improvements, those awful brows are gone, the eyes, lids, lashes and shadows cast within the eye itself look so much better, good reflections too, the nostril glow is gone, eyebrows look real, neckline is excellent, she's just lovely. Thanks again for sharing all these renders with us, I think this is the longest thread I've ever read. :o)

Wowzers! When asked by family what I'd like for Christmas I said cash so I can go shopping at DAZ. :o) I've never asked for cash in my life! Ha! Ha! But I'm hooked and Vic3 is first on my "to buy" list. Thanks so much for sharing these images with us, I'm very pleased with how she looks, great to have a sneak peek. I see many of those little problem areas are gone, like arm pit to shoulder blending, and the knee area when bent, and I just love the skin texture and muscle tone. I think she has a nicer face than Vic2. Hope she'll be on my hard drive before Christmas!!! Yeah!
