I recently used some of the V3 morphs on Steph 3 without Morph Manager, and they worked fine. I don't exactly remember all of them, but one was the long nails morph, since I couldn't find it among Steph's morphs.

Use a female face in the thumbnail. I recently posted two pics, one with a genie and a dragon, and used a genie bottle for the thumbnail, the second was a follow-up, with the dragon replaced by a cat, and used the genie's face for the thumbnail. So far, the second one has more hits.;P

Another alternative is PBoost, which allows you to place similar items in their own folder (like all the Vicky 3 clothing into a Vicky 3 Clothing Folder). It allows you to switch between those folders within Poser and only shows the content you have in each section. I had all my Vicky 1-3 stuff in one folder, and in a sub-folder based on which version they were for (i.e. Vicky 1-2 clothing in one sub-folder, Vicky 3's in another), which also limits how many folders you have to go through. Poser 5 has a similar capability, allowing folders to be moved, but that's another investment.
