From all my reading, I'd say the new Rebel XT is the way to go. Nikon's D70 trumped the older digital rebel but the new should more than make up for this. I suggest visiting the attached link for more info. Good luck!Kort Kramer - Kramer Kreations
Thread: PSP vs Photoshop CS | Forum: Photography
Never having uses PSP it is hard to me to judge, but I can't imagine not having the tools of Photoshop at my fingertips. Even the older versions are awsome, though CS is truly an comprehensive program and the one to own. It may not be as easy to use, but it is the most powerful. If PSP meets your needs as a hobbyist, then I say stick with it. As a professional, I feel I need Photoshop and all that it offers.

Thread: My entry for... the Hot-20 !!! | Forum: Photography
I pretty much agree with the majority of the sentiments here. I don't really care about getting votes or the ranking my work gets. What I care about are the comments that are left so I know how my image has effected someone. And I am also looking for comments on how to possibly improve an image as well, as long as their are constructive and not just, "This sucks!" ;o) Sure, it feels nice to see someone liked and image enough to V for it, but until that system is somehow overhauled, I'm not going to worry too much about it. I do check the Hot20 to see what work is in there because it really does represent some of Renderosity's best. But as many of you point out, there is a lot of other worthy work in the galleries as well. My hope is that the system will eventually be tweaked so that we get a better cross section of artists and their work, and not just those that are popular--as deserving as their work may be.
I have a gallery on Renderosity because I like the sense of community and friends I have made. I have an outlet to show my photos and get feedback. That's why I am here.
The boss is looking over at me so I better get back to work, just wanted to add my 2.

Sounds great, just heard about it yesterday myself. Should be an awsome upgrade, and for what the current one has been going for too! :)

I'd like a zoon and crop of the leaf on the right. That might be what you need. ???

Oh and as far as downsizing...maybe post a Renderosity friendly image in the gallery then the full version on another website and include a link to in your description. Just a thought. :) --Kort

Now that is the detail I was hoping to see, just amazing. That cheesy stuff, BTW, looks like pollen granules. Amazing shot...just love it!

Very funny! Nice car--is it the older or newer version. The classic ones look very classy, but the newer ones looks super sporty. I'd love to drive either, not that I don't like my Passat. One day.... ;o) Thanks for sharing!

Glad to hear it MGTF. What kind of car did you get--is it a convertible? ;) Thanks for explaining a bit...it helps us understand you as a person a little bit. Not that we should have to to enjoy our photography, but it creates an added dimension. We are a community here and the more active you are the more rewarding it can be. I look forward to finding out a bit more about you and seeing more of your images! --TwoPynts (Kort)

You are welcome MGTF. I like the fact that your images have no context of words to go with them other than where they were taken. It makes my brain work a little harder, and that is a good thing. Keep doing what you are doing. The best way of thanking us is to make more of your imaginative images. Thank you for showcasing them here. :o]

If they are good enough, they'll get in. I doubt they know yet the ratios of what work will be accepted.
