Lines or no lines, this is very nice. Did you meter the sun on purpose? Good silhouette action!

Quite a lengthy commentary for someone who "doesn't care". No need for explanations Slynky. I think I speak for everyone when I say you and some others' unusual postings help break up the monotony of an otherwise "plain" collaboration of html... Long live Slynky! -Andrew P.S. Easy on the Bacardi..

I believe I like the second one best. While the un-zoomed pic is very well done, it displays a little too much clutter and the eyes tend to wonder aimlessly. The zoomed pic is a little hard to grasp what is happening. This is fine if you are going for an abstract look but I don't think you are after that since the dragonfly is so recognizable. The medium view I think is best because we see enough to know what is happening but our eyes never leave the maze of colored wires. Our eyes jump from one location to the next tracing colors which ultimately lead back to the subject. This image is very well done. Good job Slynky! -Andrew

Alpha and Syyd. I would be happy to help in any way I can. I would love for the photography forum here at Renderosity to be a destination for everyone inside the site and out. Let me know what I can do for you and I'll do my best. If there's one thing I can provide, it's input! If it's banners you want, I can help out there too. Just let me know...

Beautiful use of selective focus. What length lens was this? The only thing I can come up with for improvement is maybe to dodge the face of the animal a bit just to brighten his features. Very nice photo Antoonio...

You did a really interesting thing here. Don't know if it was on purpose or not, but the perspective of the street leads the eye right to the base of the subject (the rainbow). Well done!

Good job framing the subjects. The color in the sujects also helps them pop out of the photo. Although there are some interesting background images on the right, you may want to do a little more cropping to realy isolate the couple. It might also be interesting if you tried to blow the contrast so far out of proportion that the couple becomes a silhouette. You've got my creative juices flowing now. Anyway, great photo and composition.

Good post-processing job on this one. The filter really works with the tool and gives an old, reliable look. I think tools are a great subject for photography and you've shown that in this photo...

Thank you for the warm welcome, Alpha. I have used c-41 black and white several times. I have zero complaints. It's hard to find it in anything but iso 400 and yet it has extremely sharp detail (hard to tell with my aweful scanner). It is a scan from a lab print. A one hour lab at that. The tricky part was taking two 4x6's, that coincidently lined up perfectly, and blending them together. I can barely see the seem but it took a lot of effort and good software. Also, the c-41 bw film is pretty goof proof. The one hour labs always have good results with very little color or over and under exposure. You simply must try it!
