Why don’t you render out the chipmunks as separate images and import them into adobe or something similar as layers and with the tiff format they would have their alpha channels and composite your scene there. You could tweak the colour balances and what not and even distort them to fit. You could fake the shadows and reflections, I don’t’ see how you could do that in poser. Trying to set it up in poser I’d think of as a nightmare.
Funnily enough I find Daz studio more user friendly for posing.

I have to agree with martial above that it is very good hair, just the rendering times. Im not sure what animation Im doing yet Im in the novice/experiment phase, and just kinda enjoying myself. It is very good hair and much easier to move about than other hairs on the market, they tend to be temperamental. Just that damn rendering time, you do something let it render for ages ,then realise that that bit just over there in that corner just isnt right and have to fiddle some more. I look forward to seeing the update, and getting around to getting your new hair and being aghast at its rendering times Im sure ;) Thanks for all the freebies on your site and wishing you much success.

Hi As Shanim again, I bothered you about this before, and sort of gave up on the hair I must admit even though I loved it and really wanted to use it; it took to much time to render. I am exporting the file to cinema 4d but welding whole thing as an .obj file and trying to do animation. Your hair has so much potential it is a pity I cant get it to work without huge render times. It really has to do with the texture files I believe. It renders in poser, but in C4d it is no go, I cant work totally in poser as it is not the most user friendly when it comes to cameras and lights, but I cant understand why your hair should be such a chore for it. I love your stuff and your new hair looks so I am so tempted but if I cant use it, it is just so damned frustrating. I realise you cant help everyone as there are so many programmes and what have you out there I just thought Id try again as every so often I look at your hair and go would it be lovely. By the by what has happened to it I cant find it anywhere on Renderosity?? Yours in admiration, rorsdors

AntoniaTtiger is right, the pose camera is linked to the figure, to stop the wobbling I locked the hip while posing so the fugue was kinda stuck to the positioning. Stopped the wobbling anyway. At the moment Im just experimenting trying out things, the two frames firewall crates a jumpy cut in action. Would you use it for movement on a figure or things? What I mean is I wanted to pause my figure in the action, but no matter how many seconds I gave the pause the figure just moved about. I used the firewall to give a break in the action but it was a little to abrupt. How do you do a pause? People move and stop for a second its not all fluid movement. And while Im being a complete nuance how do you add animations to an animation youre working on. Would you work a section save it as a pose file, then work on another action and import the pose file at the end of that action, if thats what you wanted one action leading into another? Or is there some other better way of doing it? My figure keeps getting jerked to the default position i.e. the zero x,y,z axis. Hope some of that made sense. Rorsdors

HI Opera, I am digesting what you have written and my head hurts a bit :) but I have come to expect that with everything new that keeps coming along. If I could pick your brains a bit more, I have been doing an animation and the scene keeps wobbling a lot. I thought it was the character and went in and tried sorting out x and y and z rotations and positioning but no go. I am using the posing camera to look at the figure as I work but have unchecked its animation tad. I dont know. In the front or side camera I dont get the jerking around just face or posing. Maybe its jus time, but any ideas would be gratefully received as its making me sea sick. Rorsdors

Hi Opera I was wondering what you meant by firewalls between each section of animation. How do you do that? Im doing a long stretch and am waiting to screw it up; if I could compartmentalize it for safety itd be great. Rory

Thanks Urig, The things they dont tell you. It does make sense from a poser point of few to reduce the file sizes; its a pity Bodystudio cant deal with it. But fingers crossed who knows. If you have any hints and tips about using Bodystudio in Cinema 4D I would love to know. Knowing what to avoid is half the battle. Rory

Thanks you all for replying to my plea, I have saved the page and am looking over and up everything in the manuals and pdf files. When you talk to you people you realise just how far I have to go. Hopefully it will be fun getting there if not a little frustrating at times. Hoping your all having a nice day and happy posing and animating.

Thank you very much, I didnt know that was even there; really you think you have begun to get a handle on something then it goes and proves you wrong. I dont know I feel I have only scratch the surface of poser pro and now were onto poser6. Do I really want to start all over when I havent got to grips with what I have, though there does seem to be a better vibe about it than poser 5. Again a BIG thank you for that. Its always the case it would be easy if you know how, and thanks to you people out there I now know a little bit more.

Im one of those really behind the times people that never got as far as poser , was always put off by the horror stories and I had finally got poser 4 working in a way that I could understand it .so no material room and no transparency node to turn off Im afraid. Maybe thats what I remember seeing. Damn and blast, thanks though for your time.
