I would recommend using Snarlgribbly´s "scene Fixer", amongst others it has a function to spawn full body morphs.
Create your character from various morphs, spawn a full body morph and save it to your pose library. Load a clean V4 (without extra morphs) and inject the FBM to that one

I was excited by Dawn during the development but got tired of the hype even before the model was released.
Sure, I downloaded and tested it out but I couldnt make myself like the model.
It doesnt bother me to spend money on a character, but this one, no...
plus there is one thing im not proud of, im having a hard time coping with Hivewire3d's holy attitude, feels like a partner to Daz3d.

I say go for it, dont feel like you have to make a model that rivals V4 or Dawn.
There is plenty of room in my runtimes for nice standalone models.

After a test i agree with you, still looks kinda weird :-)
Unfortunately I cant replicate the original posters issue, I do recall some problem with hand poses in a early incarnation of PP2014 but cant remember now what it was.

Something is definitily happening, look at the shoulders on the left V4, this is after using a hand pose on the left hand. Doesnt seem to be a problem when using a pose on the right hand.
I does however seem to dissapear when rendering (with the aid of smooth polygons).
