Creations - 3 (amazing - doesn't even look like Poser) Ernyoka1 - 2 (nice to see a more realistic image) Diaxus2 - 1 (terrific composition)
Thread: Message to merchants from a customer | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
I look at it this way. The publically protesting merchants are like employees who picket an employer they feel is treating them unfairly. Does it inconvenience customers? Yes. Does it alienate some of them? Yes. But without such "unprofessional" tactics, we wouldn't have any of the workplace protections we take for granted today.
Thread: More Daz updates.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"Randy, I was under the impression that M3 textures go directly to M3, not to outfits in the middle like on M2. V3 is the same - you apply her clothing textures directly to her. Thus, Fantasy Warrior isn't necessary for Rogue Warrior. Right?" Wrong. V3 has regular, V2-type clothing, as well as the "second skin" textures that take advantage of her material zones. M3 is the same. If you look at the "Rogue Warrior" clothing, it looks just like the Fantasy Warrior clothing, which is definitely not of the "second skin" type. It really was confusing, because the "Rogue Archer" costume is a second-skin type outfit, and that might lead you to believe that "Rogue Warrior" is the same. But it's not. I notice they've changed the page. "Fantasy Warrior" is now listed as a required product for "Rogue Warrior," so it must have been a mistake.
Thread: Fantasy Collar Problems.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Try deleting the collar, then putting it back in and applying the MAT again. P5 sometimes has problems with P4 MAT files. The first time you apply a MAT, it looks fine, but sometimes if you keep changing the MATs they get strange looking.Thread: No Images in Gallery????!!!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It used to be pretty fast even when there were over 2000 users. Now it's pokey with half that. Something's wrong.
Thread: Who killed the Product Showcase forum? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Oh, man. Rosity's being even weirder now. It's placed your reply before the post you were replying to. I notice the same thing is happening in other threads, too. That's going to make trying to follow threads interesting....
Thread: M3 Body Texture | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Melanie is right. The M3 high-res eyebrows are painted on. I don't like them, either. They really are Neanderthal-ish, much too long, thick, and dark. The V3 and M3 texture maps a little different around the lips, eyes, and chest. Often it's not very noticeable, though.
Thread: Who killed the Product Showcase forum? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Supposedly, the reason for the recent bandwidth problems is that someone keeps trying to download the entire Renderosity site, galleries included, to view offline. Perhaps not realizing how large a site it really is. They keep blocking him, but he keeps coming back.
Thread: Who killed the Product Showcase forum? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The only reason Product Showcase is slower is because it's so graphics heavy. The merchants often post not just one, but several large images when they post there. I mean, that's kind of the point of Product Showcase. :-) While many of the threads here have no images at all, and when there are pics, they tend to be smaller. Has anyone heard why they're having such bandwidth problems?I can't believe a script kiddie with a bulk downloading program can really be the cause of so much havoc.
Thread: M3 Body Texture | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Not only do the V3 male textures fit, the regular V3 textures do, too. If you have any V3 textures with natural, not-too-plucked eyebrows and a "no makeup" option, try them.
Thread: In Search Of... happi, yukata, short haori for Michael | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'd like a hapi coat for Michael, too, but I've never seen one. Maybe you could modify a bathrobe?
Thread: CloneMask Public Beta - import real people into poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I downloaded it and installed to my Poser 5 "Downloads" folder. It appeared in the "Props" section, but only the last two options (V3 and Dork) have thumbnails. The others are blank. They work okay, though, loading the mask in the right place when clicked.
Thread: Morph makers out there?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Actually, I think I bought the new version of MikePlus. I think I only noticed it when you released the new version. I'd have bought it earlier if I knew about it, believe me. It can be awfully hard to find anything in the MP. It's just so huge. I've spent a lot of time browsing, and usually click on banner ads for anything new, but I'm still coming across cool items that I never knew existed.

Check out this tutorial. It shows you how to make a chest with a lid that swings open. Making a door that swings open would be nearly identical.Thread: looking for mystical door prop | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
