Momcat, we're not using the menu. We're hacking the URLs. Start with a recent DAZ item, then increment the number. For example: http://secure.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=1530 http://secure.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=1531 http://secure.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=1532 Not every page will be a new M3 item, but a lot of them are, starting with 1522.

I wonder if they're really going to release all of this stuff at once. Some of these items seem to have been planned for release earlier this month, judging from their numbers. And some pages are still very incomplete. I'm sure a lot of stuff will be released today or tomorrow, but they're probably holding a lot of the stuff we're looking at for future weeks.

Netta, I was thinking the same thing. I have no idea if it's even possible, but I'd like a very long, "Lady Godiva" type conforming hair. Long enough to trail on the floor or pool around the feet. With morphs that let you hide the naughty bits or reveal them.

Some of that stuff is Platinum Club, so I might not have to give up groceries for this month. :-)

The $40 price is the same as V3, so it's probably the real price.
Will we get a Platinum Club discount, and maybe an introductory sale price, like we did for MilCat?

Eep! That does look like him. But none of the links work.
It's nice to see the pics, though. The second one from the top looks like Yao Ming, the basketball player. :-)

I bought a Dell Dimension earlier this year, and it came with an ATI Radeon 9700 card, not an Nvidia. Frankly, I'd avoid Nvidia cards like the plague. They're cool when they work, but IME, they have a very high rate of failure, at least right now. We have them at my office, and they're constantly going bad. Several friends of mine have also had their Nvidia cards go bad. I've been pretty happy with my Dell. The biggest problem I've found is that the USB ports are a bit underpowered. My machine came with 8 USB 2.0 ports, but there's really not enough juice to use them all. (Of course, I have a lot of stuff connected to my USB ports: external hard drives, Zip drive, scanner, video capture device, graphics tablet, printers, etc.) A powered USB hub solved that problem, but it took me awhile to realize that was why some of my devices weren't being detected. (It's a known issue with Dells.)

Try MayaDoll. She's a free anime-style character. Download her here: http://www.3digitalcrafts.net/studiomaya/1download/index.html For hair, maybe the first one on this page: http://www.3digitalcrafts.net/studiomaya/1download/wig1/wig2.html You'd have to adjust the color to make it blonde, though.

Well, it's not exactly posable. I think I've figured out how to do that, but I was too lazy. :-) But I did put bones in the tail, so it can be posed using the rotate dials. Not as cool as bend-twist-etc. dials, but it works. Thanks for testing it out, Dizzie and Sam. Glad it worked. (And I love the render!) Has anyone who uses Poser 4 tried it? I tested it in Poser 5 and PP, but don't currently have Poser 4 installed on my machine.
Thread: Buying textures? | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Bigger is better. Rectangular vs. square doesn't matter, especially if the textures are seamless. Bump maps are great. I'm most likely to buy seamless nature textures - tree bark, ground cover, leaves, snow, etc. I've also bought some fabric and lace textures. I've been happy with most of the textures I've bought. I was disappointed in one pack of fabric textures; all the textures were the same, except different (solid) colors. I was hoping for more variety.

Maybe if you posted an image of what you've done so far, and one of what you want it to look like, people could make some suggestions.
