Oh yeah, TJohn! AWESOME model. I've never seen it's equal, with any program. Looks damn perfect.

Aye, Nintendo has always focused on gameplay, and it's done nothing but benefit them. I think they will be edged out very soon, though, if they can't keep up with new hardware...

Nice pic, I think the gun on the right could use some re-texturing? It kinda looks flat, although it does match her suit...

Fran, check out this image... If you like the spray, I'll email you the material for it...! It works best when applied to small terrains, placed near the shore...Thread: My worst effort so far? | Forum: Bryce

Aye, it's getting there, be patient! Fire is difficult to do. Remember that those materials for fire came from seven years of Brycing, they didn't happen in one night... We'll try to cut down your development time, if possible. Yeah, you need some wood in there! The link goes to an older image of mine, might give you some ideas...Thread: Excellent work!!BRAVO!! Keep up the amazing work!!V!! :D | Forum: Bryce
That generator is awesome! Amazing... Or maybe I should say, "Excellent work!!BRAVO!! Keep up the amazing work!!V!! :D"

Thread: Regular v Super rendering quality - worth it? | Forum: Bryce
Aye, Higher AA samples always produce a more accurate image. If you are rendering small, such as to screen size, then you may not notice. But the biggest difference you'll see on small renders is when using photo-textures. These are always cleaner and less grainy when using higher AA settings. Do a Search here in the forums, Agent Smith has some excellent screen shots of this process in action.

So I can't buy it yet? Then this is all just promotional work? What else have you done with your new materials?
Thread: My first WHIP...err...WIP! | Forum: Bryce
How do I buy Pro-Render? I didn't realize it was past the "beta" stage? I'd gladly pay a few dollars to see what it is you're doing differently. Hell, my work just bought Maya, not just for me to play with, but it's wonderful. I'm not certain they can afford your more advanced, more powerful rendering utility, but I'll run it by them, see what they say?

... then I shall comment. It occured to me that having a Hot 20 to showcase Brycean artwork will ALWAYS be corruptible. So, let's toss that factor out... Amount of views? The naked Vicki's win. Amount of comments? The robot-friends win. Amount of votes? Again, goes to the 'bots. Rankings? Again, 'bots. If any of you vote for any of my images, I will personally soil myself. I'd rather be filthy than join the ranks of substandard robots. That said, I mean no offense to the wonderful artists who happen to be there. You know who you are, because you slaved for hours on end to make those scenes. Way I see it at Renderosity the people in here, the Bryce forum, are my greatest critics. I use the gallery solely as a way to market my "artwork". It's got a convenient link setup and I can send to people from anywhere to view my stuff. I sincerely enjoy and respect the praise and criticism on my gallery posts, but I use the "viewings" number mostly to determine what I'm doing right or wrong, both in imagery and presentation. Coincidence that both of my vertical-aspect images are my most popular ones? Maybe. But if I want sincere feedback, I'll bring it to you guys. The opinions (onions?) of the teeming masses mean nothing since it doesn't change my bank account OR my life. I don't care about popularity, and if I need an ego boost regarding my art I'll just toss something new in the forums and see what you people think. If it sucks, it sucks. If it's good, you guys will tell me. And if you don't know who the "good Brycers" are yet, just scroll up. Many of their names are right here on this page.

Aye, something else we really need to discuss, Pumeco. This isn't your first image. In fact, thus far, you have ZERO images. And while other people like my friend Jocko are nearly as arrogant as me, at least they have A image to refer to. What's going on here is that you are just building off of other people's work. Note the model you are using? You didn't even make it. There is nothing innovative about this at all. There are a lot of things going on in this thread, but RayRaz is the only one who's fully called you out. Once again, I'm gonna have to agree with Drac on this topic : pro render sucks ass.
