Kinda vague question. =O) I do most of my BG doctoring with Photoshop most of my postproduction too. Try as best you can to get pictures that line up at approximatly the right angle. Nothign like a render that looks like yer character is wearing skiboots. =O) Keeping the lighting color the same adds to realism too. Photoshop is good for that too. I took a daylight shot of a forest and just f***ed with brightness and color balance and made it look like a night shot. The bg of my AvP pic is one.

Sorry... There is such a thing as constructive critcism however. Nothing like trashing the first posting of a newbie. I will agree that the Alien Human hybrid and the upcoming checker plate Alien seem to be getting a bit too carried away. But one would expect a slight change in the appearance if the creature gestated inside of a different organism other than a human ie the "dog alien" in 3. I am going out on a limb but I am gonna guess that the checkerplate alien is what you get if an alien births from a Predator. It would be nice if the did a consult with Giger if they plan to go much further.

It is always best to judge for one's self. The Mummy movies were cool so I expect this to be the same calibre. Having Dracula, the Wolfman, and Frankenstein all in one movie? The story MUST be pretty loose.

The Firefly is a pisser. Can anyone tell me what the sense of Firefly is? I notice a slight difference in quality and this displacement thing sounds cool. But it take so f***** long!

Here's my question tho. What is wrong with the wing memebrane? I have it set as a single color. It looks fine when in display mode but when I render she goes all wierd.
