An interesting idea worthy of following up on. I for one would find it useful.

I wouldn't conceptualize it that way. The image isn't posted twice, it just shows up for more total members based on the gallery viewing options they make.
Put another way, if you put "portrait" and "fantasy" in the title of an image and uploaded it, it will appear for people who do a search for either "portrait" or "fantasy", because the image title is appropiate to both searches.
In terms of gallery upload options however as they stand now, assuming this hypothetical image is in fact a fantasy portrait, when you upload it you can put it either in the "fantasy" or "portrait" gallery. Putting it in one will mean it will not show up in the other, even though it's appropiate to both in terms of actual content.
In short then, what i'm suggesting is the same level of functionality that exits in the search engine be applied to gallery settings. The underlying principle I espouse here is that Images that are appropiate to more than one gallery should be allowed to be seen in more than one gallery, that is in all galleries for which they would be appropiate
As for fears of a multplicity of viewings for the same image, who looks in more than one gallery at the same time?

When exporting an image as a jpeg (yes I like to do that) the file ends up being the same size no matter what compression rate is used. The compression rate that it's stuck on seems to be horribly high though resulting in equally choppy pics.
And yes i've had delete key woes as well.

What strikes me as funny was that it was stolen and reposted on a site that was bound to get Gio's attention. Moral weakness and incompetence are a bad combination.
Haven't found anything of mine "stolen" (passed off as their own) though I have found some posted without permission elsewhere as "Chimera46" on some Russian sites, so either i've been lucky or just haven't come across it yet.
I've been doing the embedded sig recently too, we'll see how well it holds up.

I think MikeJ has a point, as time goes on they'll be more options for V4. I didn't pick up V3 myself until the end of 2005 and by then pretty much everything was V3. As for V4, for the time being i've managed to shape her using some old and some custom magnets, with some decent results.
You work the clay long enough and eventually you'll get something worthy of the kiln. Or, just wait for someone willing to do it for you at a reaosnable price.

Thread: Question about "art charts" | Forum: Community Center
I'd have to support Giolon's comments on this issue, even though i'm not overly upset about the pics that get chosen for me.
The system seems to be geared along the lines of the phrase "nothing succeeds like success". The most "popular" image gets chosen, so it gets more exposure and more people check it out, making it even more popular, and thus cementing it's place as your "most popular image". It's a vicious (or virtuous?) circle.
The downside is that a past image that is not representative of your gallery becomes your flagship image to the rest of the community. Not everyone likes to introduce themselves at a party by telling a dirty joke. Even if in the long run people love it, it may not be the first impression you want to give.
Perhaps using the "featured image" that users choose to use on their homepage would be a better way to go. There's nothing to calculate, you just copy the link. I'm not a programmer but that seems easier to do than setting up a bunch of multi-variable calculations.

The ordinary is needed. I have my own wishlist however.1.Arabic/Harem/Indian style. There is some of that here but not much in a construction kit format.
2.Can be mixed in some way with the first, sci-fi that's not industrial looking and not necessisarily metal. More like a future condo or residential area or even a space opera house of sorts. Bascially, opulant in the future looks like.... Something that wouldn't look out of place in Dune for instance. I know that's vague, I'm just tired of sci-fi scenes that look like the basement of a power plant.
3.An ultra moden furniture set. Curved/round couches instead of rectangle ones, cresant shaped divans walls that have seats and even beds that are part of the wall and such.
I'm sorry, I know none of this is enough to go on. Anyways, that's my wishlist! Looking at my gallery might help to show what I mean, i've done what I can to build sets out of freestuff scraps and the grouping tool (warning: nudity).

Not bad, the curls look a bit sharp but i'll give it a shot. As the site says, at that price you can't go wrong. Thanks for the link Sarah :)

A little too much curl to it. But I guess i'm being picky, i'm sure that'll do for my needs. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks Williamsn, i'll give that a shot. As for hawkfyr, two years ago I gave up on IE because of the security spyare issues i've had with it. Also, tabs are awesome. If you haven't had a problem in 11 years with it you're quite lucky, magic horseshoes up the ass lucky...
