Even though the P4 chip is down in price It didnt appear to get a very good review...I am also looking at the PIII because it got a better review and it uses less expensive ram than the 1.7 Ghz that I am looking at

I am not sure what size my runtime folder is but the only slowdown I have seen is also when I loaded up the pose folder with tons of pose folders it seemed to slow things down a little but only when I access that folder.

Thanks I did that and I still had the big bangs covering the eyes...If it werent for someone in here (I forgot who) posting their settings I would still probably not have it set good...oh well maybe if I reinstall the files they will work or else I will have to stick with adjusting the hair manually...

funny you should mention this te dell P4 is one of the PCs that I am considering getting the other is a 1.3 GHZ Athlon from gateway unfortunately by the time I add the ram that I would like and a couple of add ons Both systems top out at around 1900+ also probably without the monitor maybe if I wait a couple of more weeks the price will drop or If I wait for the next release the prices will drop like a stone......of course then I would probably want the new one :)

yeah its cheaper but I was planning to get a new system anyways ...just felt like whining about it but now after seeing that your running on a system comparable to mine I feel great .....seemed like everyone was running on 1ghz or better with 512 megs of ram and saying it was still too slow LOL...oops gotta go before the wife sees that Im gonna be going on a spending spree real soon.....heh heh

I dont know if shes that bad or not ...hi res,more complex,more ram and faster cpu....I am not really complaining I have a 200mhz with 128ram and I can load everything in poser and until now this is the only prob I have had (how fast and how much ram!!! snicker snicker) okay so I need a new system...as soon as I decide what to get I will ...unless vue4 gets my cash first lol

Yes I meant 75000 polygons I loaded victoria2 and the updo hair It loaded okay but when you play with it down the program goes.....I think that it is probably my system since I am way below the required amount of ram and cpu speed I was just asking if someone had come across the problem with later versions and faster computers ...thanks I will probably get vue4

Yeah Vue seems easy to change materials (Im using 2.1 so I would hope that 4 would be really better )I guess I am just lazy and wanted to apply pre made materials ....there seems to be a lot more out there...maybe Im just looking in the wrong places I guess....oh well just curious...I wish they would just release version 4 already...I dont want to buy 3.1 and then have to upgrade....Thanks

Yes I have also run into this on some sites when I have tried to use Gozilla or Getright (because of the download size and not wanting to spend 6hrs to download at once)it wont let me do it or the link just goes to a html page and that is all it will download.To get the file in question all I can do is download it normally and take my chances on lost connection
