Thanks, but unchecking remove back facing polygons was not the solution. I'm truly baffled at this point.

I'm not sure I understand, Roni.. Do you mean it should be zero or that the correct setting is other than zero?  I tried setting  it to 1 and it did not seem to help.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for looking into this. I am using Poser 5, the hair is from the figure library. I rendered it with

love the forest brush! very nice! I was able to clean up the one I made a lot after working on it some more but I still think theres got to be a better method than theone I used for picking one element out of a photo and making it a brush I'm going to keep reading and experimenting

Thanks so much for the reply, Suzanne. I just went and tried that after reading your post. Seemed like I remembered that being the right one, but it doesn't seem to be working. Beginning to wonder if I've got a bit of a glitch going..

At the risk of carrying on an entire forum thread alone.. I'm going to post the answer I found, just in case anyone else needs to know.
After checking in several places, I have gotten a repeated reply that converting brushes from the newer CS for use in PS 7 is not possible. I have, however, Â found several folks who do supply the images for PS 7 users from which their CS brushes were made.

ah..it might help if I explain that when I try to use the brushes, I get an error message saying that ps7 doesn't support that kind of file. Is there any help for this?
