I got the email, but for some reason LF2 Pro is not showing as updated. Sort by updated, and she's not there.

My attempt at a LF2 child. The morphs pack actually had several morphs that work well for a kid. The main thing missing is a "flat chest" or "chest male" morph. It's really hard to make her boobs go away completely.

Conforming and dynamic LF2 clothing ended up crumpling over her chest, though it fit well otherwise. This is a Kids 3 dynamic T. Still crumpled a bit, but better than LF stuff. Could use a more childlike texture.

DAZ vendors make child characters based on Genesis.There are child characters based on Dawn and Dusk. There are also child characters based on V4. (Circleman has some good ones.)

I think it's just that most users aren't interested in child figures, just as they aren't interested in middle aged or old people. Seems like pinups are the moneymakers.

Zombie threads are old discussions that someone resurrects by replying to them, after months or years of being dormant.

This thread popped to the top despite having no visible new posts since last July. Typically, what causes that is a spammer posts a comment to an old thread, causing it to pop to the top. The mods hide the spam comments, but the thread remains on top. Because there was a new reply. We ordinary users just can't see it.

I guess this must be a zombie thread some spammer resurrected.

But now that LF2 is out...anyone tried making child characters for her?

There's a huge variety of uniforms, depending on place. What particular style you wanted would have been helpful. A photo, even.

For example, the helmet was not used everywhere. Some cities used the same flat hat cops use today in the 1920s.

Some uniforms were double-breasted, or had bellhop/chef's coat type buttons on the front. Some had jackets with belts, some without. Some jackets were longer and/or looser than others. Some had jodhpur type pants, some didn't.

The keystone cops type uniforms had a top with a long, loose skirt type shape. If that's what you wanted, I would have suggested you create a texture for the "Valiant" clothing pack sold at DAZ.

What kind of uniform in particular? Like, what makes it a 1920s uniform?

There's a "Police Constable" uniform for M4 at Poserworld, that has a sort of British bobby look. With a helmet and all.

If you're looking for a longer coat, or something double-breasted, you might have to re-texture a military uniform.

I generally don't have too much trouble converting dynamic clothing to other figures, but stuff like Courageous, with long, tight sleeves and a high neck, can be difficult. Scaling it up, then shrinking it around the figure usually works, but it is a pain.

Valiant and Courageous drape so well in the cloth room I bought all the other Poser clothing Ravenhair made, hoping it all drapes as well. (If not, oh well. It was on sale for 80 cents each this weekend.)

Well I guess I know what my first freebie for LF2 will be then :) should take a while though, got a huge backload of stuff I still gotta work on.

That would be great. There's a lot of conforming clothing that can be easily made into dynamic. LF2 being able to wear V4 clothing like Courageous would be tremendously useful for me.
