If I remember correctly it is under Preferances/Offline section. Don't qoute me, since I deleted my Netscape to make room on my drive, since I rely mostly on IE If not, hopefully someone can help you more in that area that still has it loaded. But it is there, after one crash that was the first thing I diabled. I am not hot on anyone knowing where I spend my time, who I talk to or what I do, it's none of their damn business. Jack

Background Url refers to an image that you would like to have set for your page background. These are either in .JPG format, or more commonly, .GIF format. When it asks you for the url of the image that you would like to use, let's say a blue flower background image (in this example let's give the image name: Bluerose.gif) that you have on your FTP Let's say your main site is on www.geocities.com/SOHO/Bar and that your Bluerose.gif image is there. Under the Background URL you would type the following: http://www.geocities.com/SOHO/Bar/Bluerose.gif then when you view the homepage here, it will show that blue flower image as your homepage's background. Hope that helps!! Jack

Hmmm...it does indeed sound like you have a Java script error within your broswer that could be causing this. I run both IE 5.0 and Netscape 4.7 and only had a problem with my netscape when I had the "Notify Netscape" activated. This little feature conflicted with allot of websites, particularly those that used a new code of Java script. The "Notify Netscape" feature is a logging tool used by the browser to Sycronize your browser to their company. It downloads a packet into you cache bin to give you new product info, the netscape website update and also logs the places that you visit, so that when there is something wrong (such as your browser collapses)it will ask you if you wish to notify Netscape about this error. By selecting yes, you upload from that cache bin all of the locations that you have been and what happened. I disabled this feature for two reasons. One it helped to cause many of the errors that I was experiancing and second, I have no desire to have anyone know where I've been or who I talk to. Once disabled, I never had the problem again. So this is where your trouble my lie. In any event, I am sorry that you are experiancing these problems and hope that things work out for you soon. Jack

Hmmm... Diane, what you ask is a little out of my league, in regards to a deletion of IE 4 I have some ideas, but would like to speak with one of my friends who worked with me at Computer Shity...Err...City As soon as I get word from him, I will let you know dear. But yes, I prefer USB much faster and reliable. Lord knows, FireWire when it comes out will blow USB out of the water!! Jack

Ah... something I can finally help with. ::puts on a lab coat with a name tag on it that says "Hi I am Jack can I help you?":: Okay, I operate Microcrap's Win95 and it does indeed support USB technology, as long as you have Version B of the 95 software. I have had very little or no trouble at all usin USB technology. I use it for my MediaMASTER CD-RW and for my cablemodem (Playing with Power LOL) The Matsumi is a splendid machine and heard that it doesn't suffer the hickups that others (like MediaMaster ) suffers from, such as loss of information. As for upgrading to Win98, you do not have to reformat you system while upgrading. It will NOT write over information that you already have on your hard drive and will also give you the ablity to remove it from your system and return you to Win95 should you wish to remove it from your system.... ...which I did... MicroCrap Win98 is just that, crap. I had more problems running it on my 400 p2 than I would care to bore you with. However, Windows 2000 should be released in the beginning of next year and after having run the beta of it on my system, I found that I like this better than Win95. It is much faster, better organized. I only hope that its bugs will be taken care of ahead of time not after the release of it. Only time will tell.... I hope that this has helped some... Jack
