I say let jerks like that continue to believe that crap about the purity of 3d modeling software. while they're struggling for days to complete an illustration, I'll tell the art director I can do it in hours and be able to change anything in the piece on the fly including the pose. and I doubt his will look any better. I had an art teacher who used projectors to transfer his photos to canvas for his illustrations, many of his students were horrified "that's cheeting!" they would say, "when you're doing a book cover a week come talk to me about cheeting" he would reply "an art director doesn't care if you use toilet paper to do a project they just want results, It's your eye they're hiring" Who cares what tool you use to create your art just create!

ads generaly have to be submitted months in advance I assume that would be the reason for the discrepencys and as for the website update I'm sure they wanted all the pix on the official website to be authentic, and there's no way thy can ask the magazene destributer to delay their issue to coincide with the launch of the website.

Actualy it is rare that a company would undercut "street" prices, if a retail store can't sell a product for the same or cheeper then a customer can get it from the manufacurer then they have no reason to stock the item. any company would be foolish to do that to their loyal vendors. as far as euro gouging, that sounds like bad distribution channels to me, and CL would be best served to use a direct chanel solution to circumvent gouging but not to sidestep honest retailers who do them a service by promoting a product.

If it is low rez vicky 1 I believe that it is acceptable to distribute the Cr2 the same as the high rez version though you should just ask Daz about that. I believe that it is only the V2 version that has a restricted Cr2

I too love the Reika Charicter, and I think your red hair texture is especialy good. Unfortunately in their rush to be morally and politicaly correct some in this community are too quick to accuse, and we sometimes get drawn into a linch mob mentality, american fronter justice for you. but don't let it get to you. this is probably one of the most vibrant creative and giving communities out there so don't be surprised when someone makes a mistake and thinks they are doing right by protecting a little to stringently the rights of another community member they think is being wronged. If someone wrongly accuses you of something stand up for your rights and chalk it up to the fact that people here realy do care. Don't give up.:)

That would look cool with stained glass in the big Vs. one suggestion though make the primary walls a little wider that way the entrances won't bunch up in the inside corners.

yes a bump map on the ground plain or a floor prop would be the thing though it wouldn't show deep footprints the way a bryce terrain would (by the way if you know anyone with bryce they could export a terrain as an obj file which you could use in poser.)
