Thread: Did You Flunk the Pbooost Compatability Test on XP Home? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the info, and my drive is formatted NTFS as well. Will I be able to use PBooost?
Thread: Most used V3 Morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
When I use Vicky 2, with clothes that dont' have the same morhps, I then go and use "The tailor". it's a program that will put morhps into a clothing object that fits the character being used. It takes a little work, but once the hard part is over (getting your figure set up for tailor) just load up the figure, clothing object, and let the tailor rip. It usually does a great job. I have yet to use it with vicky 3, but don't see why it wouldn't work in there either. Anyone else?
Thread: Cr2 Editor... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I usually edit my Cr2s in WordPad. Is that what you mean? I wasn't aware of an actual program to edit the Cr2s, but that doesn't mean I'm right. I'd be interested as well in such a thing.

How do I check how my drives are formatted? I bought a laptop with xp and don't know which way it's formatted. I'd like to get Pboost as well.

As I said earlier, I was in a bad mood that night, and was a bit frustrated, at a bunch of things (not just renderosity :) ) I still feel however that the gallery issue needs serious tweaking and am happy to hear that some changes are being considered and made. I'll be around for a while yet, although I am diversifying as suggested above. Thanks for the honest answers. Dragontales
Thread: What about a hobbyist gallery ? | Forum: Community Center
While I like and support the idea of a hobbyist gallery, I don't think it'll help the "gallery vortex" I like to surf all the galleries at the same time, and the shear number of images a day is staggering. As for the different galleries themselves, I wish there was a way when uploading that you could check off boxes of all the software that was used in the piece. If you rendered in poser and touched up in photoshop, then you check both boxes. That way it would show up in the poser gallery as well as the 2D. I use poser to pose, 3d Max to render and photoshop to composite sometimes, so that image would show up in all three. I think then a sorting system could be much more viable and tailored to each users needs.

You know, I've never seen anyone opposed to the one pic per day idea. Why is it that Renderosity doesn't seem to want to do it? Can the moderator of this forum, or anyone else say what the reason is? I'd be very interested.

True, but with a membership of 100,000 (I think that's the number I read) the ability to upload 3 images a day is significant. If that number were limited to 1 a day, I think the vortex would become more manageable. For that matter, if someone can churn out 3 GOOD images a day, they are a god as far as I'm concerned. My mood is somewhat better today, but I still say this system needs an overhaul. If nothing gets changed, it'll just get worse, and I think the membership revolving door will get worse as well.
Thread: Photoshop Gallery Needed. Please Consider. | Forum: Community Center
Why is there such debate over this. It's simple. Just separate the digital 2d from the traditional. That sounds like a simple yet effective solution. As a photoshop lover, I'd love to root for it, but have to admit it would be silly to have it's own gallery. Dragontales

Thread: Using Vicky 3 questions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Cool, I just looked over that tutorial, and it looks pretty simple. I do have one question however. I have some hair pieces that are not hair files, but actually found in the character folders. They are ones that you can conform to the figure. Would that process allow me to use the hair on V3? As of now, they conform all screwed up as they were made for V2 and 1.
Thread: Stereoscopic test | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What's the distance you should move the camera apart from the first image? I assume that if it's too far, it won't work right, and the same with too little?
Thread: Questions about Vicky 3 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
