Welllll, animals that don't exist at all (but are not copies of trademarked film characters) are always nice for sci-fi and fantasy pictures. And should be a major challenge to make them look "real" without being too derivitive of real animals.

Also, are you using a newer version of Aladdin Expander? I don't know about PC, but on Macintosh, you need to have both the freeware Expander and the shareware program Dropstuff to get Zip files to open. Dropstuff can be downloaded and tried out for free at www.aladdinsys.com. (I think the registration fee is $30 if you decide to keep it)

I think the captain was Captain Haddock and the detectives were Thompson and Thompson. :P And Asterix's big buddy was Obelix. It would be great to see poser characters of any of them!

Thanks! Haven't tried the rainbows yet, but I'll have time later in the week to give 'em a shot. I'm looking forward to doing some animations in the future.....gotta finish learning to walk before I run, though... :)

Thanks! That really helped! :o) Sure, I'll post some stuff. I'm just beginning, of course, but I've already done a couple of things I like. I'm just about to get into the section on applying textures (so far I've only used the preset textures or hit "randomize" until I saw something I liked. :P ) Yeah, I'll keep checking back here! Thanks again!

Okay, here's my opinion, for what it's worth. The problem is that all the light comes from the sword. Behind the guy there's a section of sky with a moon, which not only looks VERY fake, but gives no light. My opinion--put a more realistic, darker sky behind the cave, and make the moon a light source.
