IMO customer service needs an upgrade, you can have a great product but if your support is lacking it will affect the consumers overall experience and subsequent satisfaction no matter how good that product may actually be. I have had my ups and downs but if you get through to a live person you will get help. It just should not be that hard to contact live help though.
Thread: New Thumbnail Policy - Please read | Forum: Community Center
People, people, lets gets civil here, there is no reason that this should go down the "slippery slope" and into the toilet where it is heading. The way I see it, our thumb nails are a form of advertisement, a way to get others to look at our work. There are two groups I think who are having the most trouble with this change. There are those that have no clue of how to promote there art other than appealing to what they want seen and there audience wants to see. Perhaps a few lessons in constructive image layout for advertisement would be helpful. To you it really should not matter and should challenge you to learn that there is more to your art than the aforementioned T&A BTW I don't consider this a true artistic term. The human body is an amazing work of art but only a handful can appreciate the form fully as artistic.
The second group having trouble with this are those that are crying censorship, I cannot blame them but lets be fare about this. Just because it has happened before does not mean it will happen again, sure it means it could. I don't blame them because they are merely reading the past history and predicting the future which we know can eventually happen, it may not be today but it will likely happen one day and it is sad to me as an artist.
Keep in mind it is not the artist that is under attack here, it is the art itself. Censorship is a real thing and we are seeing a great change and unfortunately at times a NEEDED change in the way we view such art as nudes. I fear the days of tasteful nudes and pinups are being dragged into the realm of smut and as such labeled by the PC police and the real PTB not (Renderosity).
I am an artist, as such I hate to see these changes but I understand them and why they are being implemented. You will hear no protest from me on this matter as I relay don't see a need for it at this time. But if and when the day comes when MY ART and other good artists in this community is labeled as smut or "not appropriate" I will put down my brush and watch as the arts fall back into the dark ages controlled not by the majority but by a few who who believe they alone know what true art really is and how it should be displayed.
BTW Stacey G I have no idea how you can remain so calm but I am pleased you have and that you did not just post this as law and walk away. We do need open communication if we are to be understood and if we are to better each other and our art, it is the only way IMO.
That's all My opinion take it or leave it.

You will need to buy the morph pack to have complete control over the characters morphs, but it's well worth it and you will use the figure more than you realize ;)
Thread: Conforming Clothing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"Conformers are actually easy to some extent. The first important part is that the conforming clothes has body parts that match the target figure where conforming needs to occur."
In other words make sure the body parts of your object match the bones of the figure you are planning to conform to.
There is the most important part IMO, after I read a few more tutorials and put all of them together, none of them I found was 100% step by step accurate, I figured it out! From what I undertand the diaper would not be that hard at to model or conform. Im not sure if you would need a leg group or not, I would think all you would need to do would be to make sure your diaper fit the abdomen. If you want some form of leg movement select the legs and asign them as leg groups. My best advice on this is to practice, practice, practice and learn the geometry and grouping and propper names of the figure meshes as the bones groups, mesh groups etc, are all case sensitive. After this learn as much as you can about the "joint editor" it will become a place you spend a lot of time at eventually.

Circum:
I have been trying to design clothing for years, never understood the basics of box modeling but last weekend I spent 7 hours learning the basics and now I can model clothing in about half an hour. However like you I still am having trouble learning to make them into conformers. I have doubt though that I will eventually figure this part out. I too use Hex to model in and am trying to create a simple conforming shirt for V4 in Poser 6, Im almost ready to issue a reward for anyone who helps me accomplish this goal LOL so I understand your frustration, but do not give up.

Did you load the V4 Base or the V4 figure. One is on a yellowish background in your preview menu(Base) the other is on a blue BG. The Blue BG is the one with the morphs. Of course if you did not purchase the morph pack there would be no dials.

Vue 6 Pro
Found a bug. Im using 32bit WinXP Home on an AMD Athlon Dual Processor.
When I select objects and try to group them it crashes the program.
AppName: vue6.eon AppVer 0.0.0.0 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 00043345
Anyone else have this problem?
Thread: Vue 6 prerelease issues reports | Forum: Vue
Ok started to answer my own questions now. If anyone else has this problem rename the file and Vue will work fine. The only problem now is that the program can not find any content directory to load preset scenes and materials from. Is this normal for now until the final version is released?
Thread: Vue 6 prerelease issues reports | Forum: Vue
Ok i got the program and installed today at last! That's the good news. Now I can't get it to run, that's the bad news. I keep getting an error and when I view the error report I get a message stating a problem with this module or file "wintab32.dll" Anyone know what this means or what to do about it? Im running XP Home edition on a dual core AMD Aththlon. Vue 5 still opens and runs great but Pro Studio can't seem to make it out of the garage just yet. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Ron
