Does anyone know a place where leads for this kind of work can be gotten? Any clues or hints as to how to attract work would be appreciated by myself as well...

hmmmm... after thinking about your reply, Nosfiratu, will Poser 5 allow for effects animations like fire or smoke? and maybe a new sky generator?

To Staby... This link ought to point you in the right direction. Plus it ought to point to a virtual plethora of prodigious procedurals for your pictorial pleasure! To Nosfiratu... You're as cryptic as the sphinx. From you I learn the value of patience. Thank you.Thread: Cel Shading | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think you can get the same effect by choosing Render/Anti-Alias Document. Then by going to File/Save As... when it's done, you ought to be able to save the image. I hope this helps...

Thread: Searching for old Poser figures | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the replies, but neither matches what I had in mind. These files go back a bit (maybe even back to Poser 3), but I think there were 5 assassin files released (maybe 6). But they were all female, fully-clothed and came with clothing and prop accessories. The characters may have had tattoos and seemed to wear leotards with new props attached -- it's been a while so I don't remember details. Like I said, one of them had spider-like legs. I'm sorry I can't offer more details. I lost a huge number of old Poser files when my PC went AWOL and those were some of them. Thanks again...

Thread: Texture problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
i'm applying the texture to everything listed under material for the woman's sweatshirt and it's still not visible in either the preview or the render. in addition to the "sweater" group, there's a "trim" group, a "skin" group, and a bunch of others. i've applied the texture to all of them with no success. again, i've exported the model into carrara and the texture shows up, so it must be something i'm not getting right in poser. any ideas anyone?
Thread: Texture problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
since we're discussing texture problems... i'm having problems in poser 4 with textures. i'm trying to apply a texture to the woman's turtleneck sweater, but the map i created (with the help of uv mapper) doesn't appear either in the preview or in any renderings. i even tried using the template for the sweater that came on the cd with no success. i then exported the entire file as an obj file to try it in bryce 4 and carrara. the map appeared fine in carrara, but did not in bryce. the postings above helped me understand the bryce problem, but what do i have to do in poser?
Thread: MetaCreations Selling Off it's Graphics Software? | Forum: Community Center
I must confess some confusion. If MC is focusing on MetaStream, then it'd probably be in their best interests to publish products which support it, right? We've already seen that Bryce, Canoma, and Carrera all provide export capabilities for MetaStream. Plus, MC continues to sell Poser as a package which can be used with each of the above 3 packages. So my thinking is that Bryce, Canoma, Carrera and Poser remain safe since they're directly linked to MetaStream. That would make sense, wouldn't it? After all, if Macromedia dropped Director and Flash, how would you make Shockwave content? My main concern would be for packages like KPT or Painter since they don't seem directly linked to MetaStream. Infini-D and Ray Dream seem like they're goners since Carrera is poised to be the replacement for both those packages. I just wish MC would provide some confirmation on what's to stay and what's to go so we can move on...
