I can't remember the exact quote, but there was a line, by SGT Dietrich on "Barney Miller", after they caught a shoe fetish thief, that I liked. One of the cops questioned how anybody could develop a shoe fetish and Dietrich said, "There isn't an object out there that somebody doesn't have a sexual lust for."

The only folders you should organize are in the Libraries folders (but not !DAZ and other folders that don't equate to things in the library because the morph injection folders have to be in their default installation). It's really a manual effort and Explorer gets the job done since it's just a matter of creating directory folders for the categories that you want to organize around and moving the content that belongs in each. It's a bear of a task up front, but becomes easier once you've set up your own organization system.

blMilManHip.obj is the file Mover calls out when I decode the .pcf. If I click blMilMan.obj, it says it's the wrong seed file.

In the supermarket example, companies have, in some instances, made larger packages more expensive solely because customers have gotten into the habit of buying larger sizes for price savings. Jack up the price of large items and customers pay more per pound and still think they're getting a bargain. It's sleazy, but it's happening.

Lower prices--Who wants that? I want to mortgage the house to buy Poser content! Seriously, I prefer low prices to high prices. I can understand that being a problem for content creators competing with DAZ, but it's what I, as a customer, want. If crap is being sold cheaply, it's still crap and I won't buy it. This new sale hardly emptied my wishlist even of DAZ originals because a lot of stuff didn't get dropped more than 30% and there's better sales than that a couple times a year. I did find a lot of other stuff at 70%-80% off that was worth picking up.

Any 3ds file much bigger than 1 Mb is likely to crash Poser. An Obj can be 100 Mb and still be loaded, though Poser will cry and be unbelievably sluggish.

Set your preferences in Poser and learn to use the memory dots. The Poser environment needs to be set up the way you like to work. I don't need the P4 Dork or P5 Don to load when I open the program. Delete the default figure. I work visually, so I click Texture shaded in the Document Display Style and Full Tracking so that I'm moving the figure and not boxes. I don't like ground shadows and turn them off from the Display menu. I change the light colors to white and gray shades so that I'm not getting the brownish/orange tints with the default light. I set the Main Camera to 100mm and the Face Camera to 160mm so that I'm not getting forced perspective or a fisheye lens effect respectively. I move all the Poser controls to a layout I like. Go to EditGeneral Preferences and click Set Preferred State and the circle to Launch Preferred State. That way, Poser loads the way I want it every time. It's not a bad idea to also click one of the UI dots because Poser sometimes loses the preferences. This is a nice to quickly customize Poser.
