I can use Flash no problem, but I hate it. I wish they'd get rid of it and just have a site which doesn't keep overloading and shutting down. :)

Hmm, according to the ones I looked at, it's not that part, it's this one (arrowed below)... kdIntensity KdIntensity { name GetStringRes(1028,22) initValue 1 hidden 0 forceLimits 0 min -100000 max 100000 trackingScale 0.004 keys { static 0 k 0 0.25 <--That value } That's the only thing which has changed in the file from 100% intensity to 25% intensity. Anyhow, I'll try it and see if my computer explodes. :)

Thanks for the advice, c1rcle. I just manually adjusted the 4 sets of 14, impatient person that I am. :) You saved me working on the 4 sets of 18, though. :D

Thread: See Ya... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Dave, you seem like a good bloke, even though I don't know you very well, I have read some of your posts. But before you hit the road, consider a few things... This is an internet forum, not real life. Oh, sure it reflects some of the things in real life, such as the different personalities who choose to post here and the various business/personal/whatever issues that are discussed. BUT it's still emphatically not real life. If there are problems with some company's software or another company's attitude to yet another company, who really gives a damn? Unless you have a financial stake in any of these organizations, or you're employed by any of 'em, why worry? After all, none of it is preventing you from doing what you want to do, which is creating 3D graphics and associated bits and pieces. If company A is tearing company B an new one, let 'em get on with it. And if they're co-operating, that's equally none of your (or my) concern. Take the P5 debacle, just as an example... What good does it do for anyone here to speculate on the whys and wherefores of who is talking to whom and about what? After all, your software won't suddenly vapourise if DAZ and CL don't get together. Whatever happens, you still have your skills, your expertise and your software. So, if and when it gets you down, switch the damn machine off and take a walk outside.

Your vehicles are excellent, and even if it's not detailed, it is a lovely addition.

Thread: "Tagging"? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I could understand it as another term for Trolling. Seems there have been a lot of really basic questions being asked on here in the last couple of weeks. Maybe the Warez kidz? Wow, paranoia. :)

I seem to remember they had a big glass jar containing cheap cigars. Sacks of sugar, flour, oats and so forth. Milk (in churns) and butter in large blocks, wrapped in waxed paper.

Thread: DAZ Platinum Introductory Extended! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Heh. I got mine last week, but it's great news for the folks here who needed to wait until the end of the month. Looks like DAZ can do no wrong at the moment. We all happy bunnies. :)

Thread: saving a single image from render | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Assuming it's the same as P4... Click on "Save" in the File menu after you rendered. It will let you save the pic out as a JPG.

Thread: Crystal Ball: How to? | Forum: Poser Technical
The simplest way would be to render both scenes separately then comp 'em in Photoshop. Alternatively, set up the scene which will be in the ball, scale it down and place it all inside a transparent sphere (which you'd then use as your ball. Parent everything to the sphere so you can drag the whole lot around to any position you like, then create your "main" scene. I think. :)

Thread: Making virtual 3D object real? How to turn Digital to Physical? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"A very patient person could even do it by hand just using a printer, a pair of scissors, and some glue." You're joking, right? :D Looked at a ream of paper lately? 1000 sheets of 100 gram paper stands about 3" high, so for a figure 8" tall, you're looking at printing at approximately 3000 sheets, then there's the cutting and glueing involved. Bear in mind also that several pieces on one sheet wouldn't necessarily be attached to each other (finger tips etc), so you'd have one hell of a job. I for one wouldn't like to attempt it.
