Hi Holli >Is Mover5 included in Vue 5 ? NO I think you've got Vue d'Esprit 3.1 right..? 3.1 was sold with Mover, you can't use it with Vue d'Esprit 5. You have to buy Mover 5 on top of Vue d'Esprit 5. Cheers
Thread: Vue 5 and Daz | Forum: Vue
Yes I know that I will need Poser or D/S to be able to pose my Daz characters in Vue d'Esprit. D/S works best with Bryce 5 and even better with Bryce 5.5 (soon). I don't think D/S works with Vue d'Esprit. For the obj YES but how about textures.. etc... Just looking at my options. Cheers

Thanks guys Yes of course I was asking about an obj Daz character. Sorry for not been very clear. So importing directly an obj from Daz without Poser/Daz Studio. Djeser answed my question but I really would like to see some pictures. I don't have Vue d'Esprit 5 and would like to know before jumping on it. Thanks
Thread: Vue 5 Esprit not d' Esprit... (New Features) | Forum: Vue
From PAGZone :
Any body notice they dropped the d in the title, it is now Vue 5 Esprit instead of d'Esprit? Don't know what it means anyway...
I think it's just a typo.
Vue d'Esprit not very easy to translate in English... but something like this = In the mind's eye.
Cheers

Thread: Who uses Daz Studio - Why? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Hi Kath In the past I used Poser but not anymore mainly because I have learned to model characters. For years I have been following Daz. They make really good characters and I always need a lot of them. When the free beta D/S was out I jumped on it with no regret at all. Daz Studio works well for me. The only thing.. not a lot of 3D packages can load correctly those Daz characters ( Poser yes, Bryce with the Turbo import ) so it why I'm using Daz Studio. Hope that's help a little. Cheers

I wouldn't think that they would even try to compete with the dedicated apps, as that is not the focus of Carrara.
And I totally agreed with that.
Every 3 packages can do landsapes/atmospheres but it's a very long process as we all know.
I just would like to know if we could build a convincing landscapes/atmospheres with Carrera with few mouse clics (like Bryce or Vue).
Cheers

Yes it's a good start. The thing I don't like, also mentionned in the other thread with Lightwave, We HAVE to use Poser. It would be so much easier if we could import directly into Cinema and Lightwave.
