I did a picture and used a picture of one like the one you have above and just applied it to the texture template. If you find one for sale or free let me know please. After your done creating the tree in tree lab, what I do is select the tree model and duplicate it and raise the duplicate slightly up. The add a snow texture to the duplicate tree. Hope this helps.

Thanks I'll looking in the Bryce temp file when I get home tonight. From now on I'm going to burn it to a disk before I start. Lesson Learned!!! Got XP from Dell yesterday. Gotta be better than this Junk ME...

I do have Bryce4 but anything done in 5 won't go into 4. Thanks all anyway, it's starting to storm so time to shut this baby down. Guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and start over. Thx everyone

I'm finding out about hardware and drivers with the new Dell with ME that I got. I'm to the point where I'm just going to network my old dell if it's possible. Haven't even loaded Bryce or Poser or Photoshop to see how they'll work.

I'm rendering one thats been cooking for 10 days. It's now at 85%.Thats just the background. Then I start rendering just the poser charaters and put it altogether in photoshop. I have a Dell 400 with 384 ram. But am getting a 1.7 Gig built for me right now. I'm sick of these log renders.

I've had the program over a year now and use it with almost all my outside pictures. It's a very good program for vegetation. But it does soon add up the size of the scene your doing thus slowing down renders. I've had one cooking with Bryce 5 and this is the second day of rendering to disk (82%) as I write.

I for one am upgrading for my own reasons but one thing that seems to just jurk my chain is the prices the upgrade is being sold at. First morning it was released pc connection had it listed for $119.00. This was at 6am in the morning and by the time I got to work and was going to order it they were out. So Amazon sends me a deal they have it for $149 + shipping and because I couldn't find it anywhere else I ordered it only to find out they wouldn't receive their copies till July 23 or 27th. So Thursday night I hop over to Corel and ordered and cancelled the Amazon order and they sent it out on Friday. Now I come in here and see it for $99 dollars at Compusa. Why is there so much variations in the price of this version? Most software I've always purchased seems to run the about the same. Not a 1/3 differance from day to day.
