Thanks a lot, now I know why nothing happend when I used the tool. I'm using P6 only, my P5 is an empty envelop, just containing the essentials, I've moved the runtie over to P6 after installing the patch. Well, maybe, after selling this and that, I will give the Wardrobe a try, anyway. Sounds interesting - and maybe the Python problems are solved during the next weeks/months.

@nickedshield: If you come up with something interesting would you let me know? I'm not common with the Wardrobe Wizard, I downloaded the demo but couldn't get it to work as I wanted it to. So I hesitate buying it...

Hi all, I own V2 but didn't use her a lot because there are far better textures for V3, it also seems easieer to modify her face. As I wanted to use MindVision's Corset for the image (it has that vintage look I'm looking for) I think I'm bound for V3. Yes, I know, I could modify it - but the ordered image is paid a bit poor for such an effort :o( I've just found svdl's Dynamic Lingerie for V3. Maybe I'll give them a try (after having a little snoozr time havn't sleeped today, too...). But I'll have a look back here, it would be great if I could use your stockings, Spanki, because I have some great textures for them at my work-pc! Sorry, I had to delete this and write it again for some VERY embarassing typos

Thanks a lot, Spanki (well, THAT was fast!). I'll see if my customer is willing to pay for the stockings and then contact PhilC for details. By the way: Thanks for pointing me on your stockings, now I know which stockings I've used at work (and got myself a copy of them for my home pc, they're really great!).

I have the same problem from time to time and not only on V3 or any other character, I realized it on props and hair, too. Greetings from Meike

Seven Wolves, we share the same kind of experience ;o) I never forgot my first render (Dork standing around silly in ugly clothes lit by ugly lights). I tried some things from the library, and ended up with another kind of ugly image. Then I found this community. And with all my practise in painting on paper and canvas I felt that I knew nothing after looking at the images around here. It took me a while to see that other people used other tools for their work. And I found the tutorials and some help by friendly users. That's what I call community! It means not that you have to give applause to every image - but comments should be polite and helpful. "get outside, you spend too much time on the computer" - this may be a kind of joke ("It's spring! Enjoy the sun and spend your time on the computer when it's raining!") because the image shows computerparts. But if it is a joke, one should be careful and make that clear. My friends sometimes send me mails:"You uploaded an image at 2.00 am??? You should go and get some sleep!" But: I know these people, I know they're making jokes - and at least: Those mails end with a smily or a line like "But the image is worth a sleepless night." Maybe the commenting person wanted to be ironic or funny (hope so), but I have a son who was a teenager a few years ago - and he was very thin-skinned. This community is open for "any audience", so it may be better to take a look before you leave childish comments about children's art.

You are right, Jen, that will help from being tossed around - otherwise it would be rude and unpolite. ...and I must confess that I worked with poser for over two years and as a professional for one year before I had the guts to publish something here. Funny, some people are absolutely not self-secure - and all these that start here as beginners have my full respect (and maybe you have to be a teenager to do so).

Sometimes I think that comments around here include not enough critique so I'm always hesitating but at least can't resist to give a hint like: Everything is done really good but (there is an arm poking through/you may want to smooth this hard edge etc...) - but til now it seems I didn't bother anyone by doing that. IMHO people are uploading their images to share them AND to get some hints about enhancing it. But what happened here is just rude and makes no sense. I think I've found the image you're speaking of (was not so easy, there is a typo in the name Bunnycoloa_15 ;o) ). Well, it's nothing spectacualar - if it was'nt done with windows paint. My tip: This child should get itself a better paintprogram (is Paintshop Pro still available for free?) and a cheap tablet - she has a talent and she should have better tools to use it. Maybe she can get herself a better program in school, she may ask the teacher for educational releases. And off of that: Don't care too much about comments! Sometimes I get a lot of them, sometimes not. I don't blame it on the users round here. There are so many new images every day, it's impossible to browse them all and leave a comment. The comments this child recieved already are very kind, but most of all: The commenting users looked closely and regarded that the image was made with very simple tools.

This must be an April Fools thread. People are actually >telling someone to make breasts smaller. Sure, what else! Okay, to be serious: Give her a long blonde mane, very voluptous figure, a red swimsuit and lips like a rubber dinghy! Okay, just kidding... I know what you mean with the shirt Tukan-Tiki. But you cared so much for the face (imagine it with some good light settings and maybe some wet-look effect and a spot of dirt here and there!), I think it's worth looking for a shirt with some breast-morphs included. Maybe you could work with magnets. I would be really interested in the face settings! Oh, and in case of the hair: I've googled a bit and found that Ripley went through different hairstyles from poodle-curls over shoulder length to bald-headed. As I don't know some really good curled hair for poser I think I would take something conformable and paint the rest...

Thank you a lot - this has exactly this slightly old-fashioned pinup look (real pants!) I need for an actual project, and I'm sure I would have missed it without your tip!

The face is realy convincing yet, in case of the body she needs less breast and more muscles (especially at the arms) IMHO to give are more tough and less feminine look. You asked about hair... How about the MW Gel haircut (not that curly as Ripley's real hair but handy enough for a working woman ;o) ) or, for a more razored look "Here comes trouble), both by DAZ?

>at the very least it would give me something else to do other than press buttons. I think we're not constrained to do so, in fact I can leave nothing as-is ;o) But if I have the possibilitie to get a good morph/texture for an affordable price I'll take it - and alter it. I think everybody has a talent for some things. I nearly never use those lights that come with some packs, I don't like most of the expressions. So I make lights on my own but aplly the expression and play around with it. If someone else makes something it is never exactly the thing that I have in mind but You get better variety when you decide to use different models, and not just your own, because you can combine your own ideas with someone elses. That's the point! I've made different morphs on my own and they are my favorites, but they are basing on my own taste. They fit my own needs perfectly but sometimes not the need of a customer who wants an image for commercial purpose. I love mixing and matching - and most of all I love using a character absolutely different to what the developer had obviously in mind while creating it ;o) It's a bit like cooking: I don't raise my own vegatables or spices, I buy them. But I'm cooking my own soup ;o) violating a CODE... I've heard of that, I've heard of "postwork is evil". Well, I think every kind of missionary behaviour is evil. It restricts development and fresh ideas. It is of interest if someone painted anything except Vicky or made all "pure poser", if he made things shown in the image by himself or bought everything. It is of interest because it shows the way an image is made and the abilities of a program. It's of interest because you can ask: How did you do that? It's not of interest for telling if something is art or not. Men had tried that before - and failed every time ;o)

Calorie free choclate? Where???? This would solve my greatest problem when doing big renders ;o)
Yep sinisterpink, you're right, the handbook is complex and I've got more answers reading the forums then reading the handbook. But guess what: After spending years with Poser (and many hours rebuilduing szenes) I finally discoverd these little UI/Pose/Camera-dots. Can someone be so blind? One can! This just for making clear that even experience does not beware of making mistakes ;o) edited for whiping out funny typos
