Thread: Looking for a specific model... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If anyone is looking for a scientific study for a pshyc class about how many thought patterns are possible. The above thread would be excellent. Everyone who look at it saw something different. I love it.

Here is just a quick example of something free that could be used for the problem.Thread: NOTICE: If you use our free models...please read | Forum: Vue
Just a note but there are ways to prevent this bandwidth theft. It would require a rewrite of the code on the page and use of some scripting that would make them blind links. You could also change the name of the download directory on random time frames. I used to have to do this when people leeched from me, and suprisingly most leechers are to lazy to update it on a daily basis. But if you want to keep it open it could be done with a minimum of work I do believe.

You might want to apply just a little motion blur to the pod as well, it would give you more of a sense of action in the shot.

Maybe I'm just nieve but the first thing I thought upon seeing the picture is that they were brothers, because if not, the resemblance is striking. Sad how many people can only see the negative in any situation...

A lot of people also use alpha planes in their renders to cut down on the total amount of poly's. This can sometimes cause the grainy appearance as well. Personally, I just don't think you will find a better product than vue in it's price range. My wife about died when I told her I wanted to buy it since I had zero experience with 3d applications. But after about 4 tries I actually produced a decent image.

Ditto on the first camera angle. I think you are looking for a sense of action here and the low camera angle makes it seem like you are being overtaken by a large half naked man with an axe. If that isn't enough to scare you, I don't know what is. The one thing that seems odd is that in the low POV you can't see the water which makes it seem like the boat is sitting on dry land. You might want to change the ground texture a bit so that you can assume this is a sandy or rocky beach being invaded. The beared man needs a more menacing weapon, maybe a large dual headed axe or something with a good spike on it IMHO.
Thread: Poser Model on TV? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
MTV made use of the base poser figures in a spot not to long ago as well. They used a cartoon shader so it was tough to pick up on it the first time.

Thread: WIP (suggestions?) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The reason there is no ground or back drop is due to all my poser stuff being moved over to Vue after the posing is complete. The idea I have in my head is probably gonna take days to render if I can take it that far ;-)
