My .obj files may be called something other than the actual item. I do sometimes name them in Dansih while working on them ;)

But they will always reside in the geometries/trekkiegrrrl folder :)

For sale-items I MAY or may not make a subfolder for them. That usually depends on the amount of items :)

Some of my things says "non commercuial" - some does not. Some are so old that they simply default to the new Non Commercial setting.

It all my later things, I specifically state in the readme that commercial RENDERINGS are ok, but that the item itself cannot be sold or shared.

I think most freebie creators are fine with commercial RENDERINGS of their stuff - the "non commercial" is usually just a "Don't sell this item" thingie.

Except of course when, as in SamTherapy's example, it's because others own the actual copyrights.

That's my hoodie, right? It's one item, with morphs to fit all three characters.

I originally made it for Elizabeth2, so that's the base fit. I then added morphs so it would fit LaFemme - and PE now that I was at it ;)

Yes, I was lucky to HAVE in-store credits.

I have frequently bought things that were covered by gift certificates, too (Rendo points converted to a gift certificate) - so a total of $0.00 IS possible, programming wise.

I don't know the answer to your questions, but I would assume that Superfly does support GTX 1050 TI. However I think the biggest issue with GPU rendering is memory limit, if the card doesn't have enough it wont really matter how fast it is, as it will simply fail and give you an error that its out of memory and not render. If you want to render faster a new CPU might be worth a look.

I have been told that AMD Ryzen should be quite good at it, while still being fairly cheap.

But Poser won't see AMD cards, will it? On my old computer, with an AMD card, it never gave me the option of using GPU at all. Now, with my new computer and intel, I can happily do GPU rendering.

I THINK PhilC made a scull cap for M4. But sadly, he is "almost" retired from the 3D world. Still alive and kicking on FB though, so I'd drop him a note and ask :)

Another thing ... I made a new dress for PE tonight. And the cloth simulation kept failing at Frame 1. I couldn't understand it (still can't, really ...) - but I managed to fix it by pulling the obj into UVMapper. It claimed some vertices (or whatever) was out of bounds, so I asked it to fix it. And then it worked like a charm.

I won't claim that this is a solve-all, but if it's some home made garment that fails, it¨'s worth a try :)

STarting with poser 11, you have to have the scene saved before you run a simulation otherwise poser resets it. Unfortunately, most of the tutorials were written before p11 so they don't include this step. I also think it might be a bug but have no proof of it.

Huh? I've done lots of simulations without saving the scene first?
