Got my Vue5 today and that was just the question I wanted to post. Thanks for the answers...

dlk30341 , well I don't have Vue5 yet, but I had another experience last week and you should also check for that. If you have 99% CPU usage look at the process tab of your system monitor, if it's really Vue that's consuming CPU power. I had some strange effects that sometimes the system stalled and when I looked at the processes, it was an IEExplorer task that consumed all CPU power. I killed that process and everything worked again. This happend when I surfed some pages with links to adservers. Doesn't make me feel very confident.

V3 has some morphs that are controlled by movements to make her more realistic. E.g. if you move up her arm, the breast lifts a bit via morph. Unless you don't have similar morphs in your dress, it will never fit.

I upgraded also from the German version, but as my upgrade was a German one, there was no need to rename any folder. The upgrade worked with the German and the English folder names as well. Try to get a French upgrade to avoid renaming... - Walter

I have bought xfrog 3.5 lite and it comes with 3x20 plants (young, middle, old) ready to use. They are heavy regarding polygons, but you can get xfrogTune (extra money!) to lower the polycount without loosing too much quality. I only have Vue d'Esprit and render sometimes in Poser5, so this seemed to be the best choice for me. But the SolidGrowth plants seem to have their benefits too, especially with Vue Pro. By the way, your modified Monstera is awesome Guitta. - Walter

Thanks, I thought to use the Null haracter, but that would not be very user friendly for this product. The actual solution works fine and the users of my product like the way TFX ClawHall behaves. Thanks for your input anyway. - Walter

Well Cliff, I think they need to make money again. Poser5 certainly wasn't a big success. Selling only a small number of a quite bugy piece of software at first and then working hard on major Service Releases (which costs significant amount of money) to get more satisfied customers. Finally they sold Poser5 quite cheap to get a decent user base. CL certainly didn't get rich with Poser5 and they have only costs with Service Releases. They need to sell something like Poser6. They should be aware though that customers will be very careful about buying the next Poser Release. Stability is the most important feature of Poser6.
